Here's a pic of my son winning a major award from his teacher in 5th grade. Not sure he was listening to her that much, but I was. She made quite an impression on me.

Kind of hard to remember to keep him in the frame, huh?
Totally understandable.:D

And I loved Maine, every time I have been there, which at least a dozen times.
If this bill gets passed, I wont go back.

That would be a shame, I would have to find a dilapidated Lobster shack in a different state to spend my money at.
This was from the last time I went to the shack in Maine, damn, I would miss it....

Yuk. I'm sure it's delicious. But I grew up in a seaside town in the 50's. People used to sell winkles and mussels live by the beach. They kept them in metal buckets full of seawater and you could get a bag full for a penny. You used a metal utensil with a hook to pick them out of the shell and eat them raw. I tried it and I've never been able to eat anything with a shell my whole life as a result of that experience. Closest thing I can handle is crab cakes.

My son also got off the cigs to vaping and laughs at my stock of mods, RTAs, DIY supplies, flavors, and freezer nic.
I hope he is right, but hope is something I learned long ago is something not to be expected.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst...

(And, of course, be active in working toward the best, might help to mitigate the worst.)

I don't do muscles, oysters, or clams either. Although I really like shrimp, lobster, craw-fish, and crab. Down here we have a delicacy we call "Barbecue Crabs" although not really barbecued. You pop the top shell off, sprinkle some Old Bay seasonings on them then deep fry them. They are incredibly delicious.

Seeing as how we are consumers of liquid nicotine, and that nicotine once consumed enters our bodies, would that not make us liquid nicotine containers, and therefore our mere presence in the state of Maine outlawed?

You're fine as long as you don't empty your bladder in the state.

And yeah, the missing kid does seem to suggest a different point of focus at that award ceremony. Not that I blame you.

Like many others, I discovered my Dad's Playboy magazines he had for his for later reading. Then I went to class (5th grade I believe) and my teacher was the spitting image of a woman from the magazine, just with clothes on. It was a very difficult year of school to get through.

Where I live, people call winkles "wrinkles." Gathering them is an important source of income.

Sea urchins are called eggs (short for .....'s eggs). They're a big deal here, too. A lot of the boats people assume are dragging for scallops are after urchins instead.

And people think Maine is all lobsters and clams, with the occasional shrimp or mussel thrown in. Pshaw.

Of course, the wrinkles and urchins are consumed elsewhere and don't appear on local menus, so the misperception is understandable.

What is a vape detector? This is new technology if it really exists orvis it just a vape sniffing dog in the dropped ceiling with a cellphone to text the principal? How do you detect vape? Why not just say a smoke detector like in every other school uses to discourage bathroom smoking? All of which (except the dog) easily defeated with a shower cap.

I was once ordered to install smoke detectors in the bathrooms at the factory I worked in. The women discovered that perfume set them off. Next thing you know all the women were applying lots of perfume when they tinkled.

2 weeks later I was instructed to disable the smoke detectors.

Seems it is not a very solid tech:

    Confidence Level
Set the confidence level for when you should be notified of an incident

Just dont blow clouds into it.....
But they are going to mop up $ with the current vaping epidemic.

Vaping and high noise levels. So no yelling while you vape. I wonder how loud you have to be up set it off?

This seems like sketchy tech. I'll reserve judgement on whether this is for real or a rebranded smoke detector with wifi and a jacked up price.
The audio analyzer is probably tuned to pick up the frequency of an atomizer.
