I tune out any of these stories. You can't argue with idiots so I don't bother. I just tune it out.
It is concerning to me that this idea that is in bold, is popping up over and over in these reports.

Be careful if you choose to be interviewed.
If you have contacted a Media Agency because you are Unhappy with the Content they have presented, the same May Happen with your statements.
I trust no one in the media. They'll interview you for an hour and pull out a 5 second passage that fits THEIR narrative and throw away the rest.

I've seen in person how a newspaper reporter "quotes" a subject of a live interview. And what framing the published version can make it look like.

Unless it was some sort of Live situation, I think I might consider passing. I’ve never read her work to gauge what sort of ‘tone’ and ‘direction’ she writes with. My faith in any sort of accurate and positive message making it all the way through to publication is right at about 5%. That raises a little with a live situation. Again though, I don’t know where she’s at in her journalistic career/view/ethics.
I would advise not winging it, have predetermined facts and treat the converstion like you are in court on the stand. Anything you say can and will be used against you.

Well, if you're in any of the states that have already passed flavor bans, grab what you need while you get your recipes gathered and nic base stored away. For everyone else, same thing but in slower motion. As to May, it looks reasonably clear that open systems will be challenging for approval so I'd continue to look for long lasting items and stashing them away. We knew these days were coming, it's just sad to see them arrive.

Like printers that can only use proprietary ink cartridges or 3D printers that can only use proprietary filament. Bwahahaha, those only take days to weeks before they are hacked.
BT had at least one device with a chip in the atomizer to "maintain quality"...and it cuts off after X amount of use. Put all the new juice in you want, it won't work anymore. They even had a recycle program, as I recall. And maybe collected puff statistics.
Now, that's a higher production cost, but those small chips in that quantity wouldn't add all that much to a locked-in market.

Assessments of product design hazards that could be expected to result in illness or injury from normal use and foreseeable misuse of the product, including actions taken or future plans that show how a design hazard is reduced, mitigated, or eliminated. For example, you could assess whether the consumer could tamper with the heating element and how the manufacturer has responded to such an assessment so the product is not misused. Similarly, you could describe how you plan to address the likelihood of battery use and foreseeable misuse leading to overheating, fire, and explosion during operations, charging, storage, and transportation for distribution.
c. Principles of operation
Consumers may be able to alter an ENDS product’s effect by changing the product design, the way the product is used, or adding or subtracting other ingredients. Section 910(b)(1)(B) of the FD&C Act requires you to submit as part of your PMTA “a full statement of the . . . principle or principles of operation” of the new tobacco product. FDA interprets a full statement of principle or principles of operation to include a full narrative description of the way in which a consumer will use the new tobacco product, including a description of how a consumer operates the product, how the manufacturer reasonably believes a consumer could change the product characteristics, adjust the performance, or add or subtract ingredients. This description also should include examples of the other types of ENDS products with which your product can be used

I'm Not talking about some Wink-Wink Nod "Closed System" where all you have to do is go to the ECF or YouTube to find out how to Refill it.
I'm talking about Ultrasonic Welded, Jump thru the Highest Hoop like your PMTA Depends on it (because it Does), Satisfy Mitch Zeller type Unadaulterable Closed System.
Same with Mod and Pod Chip pair. This Isn't going to be some Clear Text EPROM that has no Fall Pack if it isn't Paired with the Mod. It's gunna be 256bit AES Government Grade, take IBM Watson a Week to Crack it, type stuff.
Because Once Again, your PMTA is going to Depend on it.
