BT products might be a majority of the market in terms of dollars, but the BT's vape products are all absurdly over-priced, so whatever portion of the market they represent in dollars does not represent the fraction of vapers that use those products.
Certainly BT wants to kill the much lower-cost, open-system market, otherwise significant portion of the people who switch form cigs to a BT vape will eventually continue on to an open system, if for no other reason than the costs.
Existing law puts a halt on marketing such items until manufacturers can demonstrate that “marketing their products is appropriate to the protection of public health,”
That is of course an virtually impossible standard to meet for any particular flavor.
Given their average age, I would say it's virtually certain that a goodly number of them wouldn't admit it.

I didn't read all of it but yay! Anyone know how soon they have to respond and how soon a decision might be made?
No idea, but they have been put on notice. And maybe other states contemplating flavor bans will think twice now. We need to let them all know that this nonsense will not go unchallenged.
