Why is no one talking about THIS?
French study finds anti-malarial and antibiotic combo could reduce COVID-19 duration – TechCrunch
These are FDA drugs and no they don't cure everyone but they certainly appear to work. Trump briefly announced it on morning and I was like, "FINALLY! The insanity can stop!" It took less than an hour for the media to sabotage it though, the CDC WANTS this, probably in its efforts to well, I will stick to facts.
This virus, had it not been direly named a "CORONA" virus would have been known as a really bad virus season where many elderly died . Sometimes, I think medicine has come too far. I guess we needed a good pandemic to
tank our recovering economy.
BTW, I would focus on treatment and ASK your politicians if I were you. WE ARE ALL going to get this virus, I am fairly certain. I work in a HUGE Federally qualified healthcare center and going based on symptoms I may have already had it. But mark my words, everyone will get it.
Yes, not overwhelming the hospitals is a worthy goal I guess. But, it's also futile, and with quarantining kind of a mess. There are not enough "FDA authorized", I believe the Mayo clinic got fed up and made one for themselves, tests to accurately test EVERYONE. No one knows the numbers, no one knows the death toll either.
We are doing telemedicine based on symptoms along with a bunch of other stuff. The only stress I an TRULY having and I see 20-30 well child babies who have to come in with parents daily, is the ever changing Federal Crap we have to try and keep up with daily,. I have never received more CDC/COVID healthcare emails in my life.
What you need to worry about is not getting sick, if you are reasonably healthy, but not freaking out and filling your garage with TP, focus on handwashing. You are gonna get this virus though. We are all going to die someday: the toilet paper won't save you, and it is frankly, obnoxious. I wish I lived in an age, like the great depression, where people pulled up their socks and got on with things. YOU DON'T NEED 10 years of daily baby Tylenol, the last I heard "baby" goes away sooner than that. Leave some for the poor people who didn't go in and stockpile. Humanity sucks.
I am in a high risk group due to my smoking history and I am STILL not that scared. I no longer trust the media and I DETEST the CDC.
But, GLAD I work in healthcare as I can still make money. This is BS for almost every group. We should (if anything) isolate the old and the high risk (that's what my clinic is doing with me by keeping me out of the "Sick" clinic building it's about all they can do) and provide home services to them, and leave it at that. And focus on the treatment, so those who get it won't get seriously ill.
The only thing I'm not hating is no need to stock up on
vape stuff.
The "CDC" cares about you? Right? So why are they not chasing the treatment with all their might? IDK. But, I've given up.
I am on the front lines, and our county has had 0 cases. But, we will eventually I'm thinking. Of course, a treatment COULD be stockpiled before we identified our first case, if the CDC and government REALLY wanted,
