I also think I should get my taxes back, you know the ones that were "paying for my extra healthcare" except they DON'T because smokers die younger? I would like those. Yes, l would like the government to PAY me back for all my harm reduction efforts and industry. It's really not EASY to get a giant freezer full of nic across country but the husband managed it AND plugged it in most nights. It is in fine shape.

Anna

Sometime speak with a Respiratory Therapist, smokers may (or may not) die younger. But they also die, generally, very expensively.

If we TRULY knew the private lives of politicians (my husband was good friends with one who came over on the Mayflower was excommunicated from his family due to well, some very criminal hacking. He eventually got back into politics, started with the interns and worked his way up to some SUPER UNSAVERY STUFF. I kinda don't want to say who/where/when what because I GENUINELY believe it.

Trust me you don't want to be a high up political figure. You are going to hell for all eternity and even Jesus is not going to like, forgive you. I'm sorry. he's NOT. It would be like the money lender tables times infinity.

Anna

Nothing new under the sun but some of it DESERVES a good stoning and YES I WOULD cast the first stone, and the second, because frankly I have done some crappy stuff in my life but nothing like THATGAK.

I cannot say how much politicians simply don't care about human beings in general.: They might be an alien race.

John Kennedy said once that everyone sells out, how long you wait determines how high you go. Sometimes I wonder if the earlier you start and the more discriminating you are to whom you are selling your self out determines how high you go.
Fortunately, I'll never know.

Your link is being blocked.

Is this it?

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/...w-ICD-code-introduced-for-COVID-19-deaths.pdf

But, as @newyork13 pointed out, hospitals get reimbursed at a higher rate for Covid diagnoses.
So do nursing homes/rehabs. I know because I work in one. We only had 2 deaths so far (one in the hospital/one that was already compromised). The folks who test positive for covid get quarantined and guess what-more money from the feds. The nursing home is a private for profit nursing facility and they are able to get grant money from the state. Its a win-win for the business. However, for me being a immune compromised nurse I'm lucky to get a new n95 mask weekly. Those are also provided by the state. We get tested weekly. The state pays for the testing.

Yeah that's quite ridiculous, she certainly pimped herself out.

Too many influencers, too little time.

Good luck. :)

I'm supposedly one of the vulnerables by being senior. From day one I didn't support locking down everybody. It's my job to protect me. Would have been smarter and cheaper to give me a hand, grocery runs for instance, so I don't go out as much. So I used to work and help pay for people who weren't working. Now it's my turn to be lazy and everybody else needs to get to work or my fun is spoiled real fast. I'm more concerned about my retirement savings than the virus getting me.

We were just days into this pandemic and I could see the cure was going to be worse than the disease. And guess what? Wait till the next disease. Shutdowns will become as popular as sandbags in a hurricane. Oh well, I’m off topic. Back to my vape. Ahhhhh

I’ve known a few people now who have had it and all had minor symptoms. All they want to show on the news is people on ventilators in hospital beds. I’d like to know how many out of the total only had minor symptoms and are fine now.

Like I told my hubby I am not entirely sure he and I didn't have it back in March. We both were laid up for about 2 weeks for what we thought was just a bad cold/flu. Of course we never got sick enough to go to the doc so we will never know if that is what we had. The thing that leans me in that direction though is that we rarely get sick for that LONG and it happened not long after he went to a mardi gras celebration with his family.

I gotta be honest right now I am more focus on the September vaping deadline and what is going to happen with that. Ok and also the Hurricane that is going to hit us in the next couple of days.

My wife and daughter were sick back in February for about a week. We assumed it was flu but now we wonder if they had it too. A couple months ago, I was drastically fatigued for 3-4 days and ended up going to the doctor which I don't do very often. He didn't think he needed to test me but I'm wondering now if I had it too.

I think there is going to be a Surge of New ECF Members posting in the New Members Section asking... "What is Going On?'

At some point 3D printer sales will probably increase and the modding forum will come alive again with "how do I wire this" threads. Unfortunately, this may also mean that battery explosions become more common.

I think that Vast Majority of Vaper's are going to be Screwed. Because the Vast Majority of Vaper's Don't understand what the FDA's Deeming of e-Cigarettes is all about. Or what the PMTA process curtails.

Case (of Many I have seen in the Last Week) in Point...

swapping batteries is the 1st thing i did [i do need a new efest *rolls eyes*] , then the coil, which was filthy.... but no change .. strange but it seems to work ok now, i played a little with wattage/tcr settings [43w/738 atm] maybe that did it? i made the mistake and changed too many things at once so not sure..... i'll get a new one as backup once my budget allows... i have a backup aspire pockex but it's just not the same as this....

Not Singling out this Member. Or putting them down in any way. I just Don't think they Understand what is going to Happen in 15 Days or so.

And when they (and a Small Army of Others) come to this Thread to try and Figure Out What is Going On, because it is about the ONLY Thread on the ECF about Deeming, they will Leave even more Frustrated because of All the Off-Topic Chat.

To be fair, that person you quoted said they are disabled. So it could be they live on a very tight, fixed income. So food, shelter, utilities, etc. has to come before vape.

Regardless if that person was joking or not, lots of people (disabled or not) cannot afford to stock up on vape, unfortunately. And if a person cannot or does not want to use rebuildables or DIY juice, stocking up is a extremely expensive.

Well, that's the way all forums are. Nature of the beast.

Well, that's the way all forums are. Nature of the beast.

The Deeming Rule Set has been Finalized since Mid 2016. So just about Anyone have been the ability to Plan and Budget for what is going to happen on Sept 9th, 2020. But you have to Know it is Going to Happen.

    That has Been The Breakdown.

And Yes, trying to Stock Up 2 Weeks before the FDA Drop Dead Date is Tough for a Lot of People. And Not just those that live on Fixed Income.

    ---

I'm saying that Threads Don't have to Go Off Topic. That is, if the Members think the Thread is Important Enough. Or that Others might Benefit from an On-Topic thread.

Or if there is Only One or Two threads on the ECF where a Specific Topic is being "Discussed".

Hey I'm not Say'n that I have Never Posted Off-Topic. But In This Thread, I try to keep it to a Minimum.
