Anybody who can afford to smoke can afford a bottle of nic in the freezer. At least one of the online nic suppliers claims they will be submitting a PTMA and doing business after 9/9 but I don't think anybody should count on that. I wonder, is this armageddon really going to go down with no blowback? Is customs really going to stop consumer packages? So far all I've read is FDA is after stuff the kids like.
My view is pods succeeded because vapers wanted more discrete
devices because government and the press stirred up hostility towards
vaping which caught the attention of kids who accepted the pods but mostly passed on the bigger, clunky open systems. And presumably
juul filed a PTMA and will be for sale after the deadline and of course the kids will get them as they do now. So what has been accomplished? The products the kids don't like are harder to get. The stuff they do like is still for sale.
