Do you still occasionally smoke analogs? Or have you switched entirely to e-cigarettes?

I made the switch easily the day I started vaping, but have had a few cigarettes over the years, probably two packs worth. I haven't had any in a few months, but might have an occasional one in the future. I always enjoy the first one, but the taste and smell seem pretty foul after that. It reminds me how much more I enjoy vaping.

I started vaping in 2009 and pretty easily quit analogs for about 18 months. Then I started smoking analogs here and there. Then I started having one analog in the morning, first smoke. Then I slowly got back to smoking analogs all the time along with vaping also. Then I was back on analogs full time for about a year with no vaping. Two weeks ago I swore off analogs again and have been all vape since then. I am committed this time to not having or especially buying any analogs again. I really like vaping because it's tasty, much less expensive, and much, much more gentle on my system than analogs. I also hate when I am running out of analogs and have to go out to the gas station all the time. I felt like crap smoking analogs all the time again. The problem for me is once I get off analogs and start to feel less winded and stronger again, I forget how crappy analogs make me feel and start in again. I have to stay vigilant this time!

I tried a Blu cigalike disposable first. It lasted a day until it ran out and I was right back to analogs. It was just too inconvenient.

I met a guy months later who was vaping a mech with some kind of tank on it. It got me intrigued again so i stopped by a local B&M a week or so later, got an ego twist type starter kit and that was what it took. That was April 23, 2014. I had my last analog that night and will never go back. I've upgraded gear quite a bit since then until I found a satisfying vape and I know I will never think about picking up a stinky again, ever...

I bought a starter pack to use on a trip for when it was gong to be difficult to smoke. Afterwards I used it on and off as a novelty for about five months and although it was interesting, it wasn't enjoyable and I hadn't considered it as a means to quit my almost 22 years PAD habit. Just over three years ago I decided to switch to vaping and quit smoking. It took me about ten days to get down to my final only-one-in-the-morning-with-coffee cigarette. I haven't had another one since and my cravings ended after a few months when I had regained enough sense of smell to be repulsed by the smell of cigarette smoke on other people.

First e-cig I got 4 years ago now was really crappy and I kept smoking as much, just added occasional vaping to help when I was in places I couldn't smoke.

Then, last year, I got an Aspire starter kit. I immediately cut down smoking by half and when I realized how much better I felt after 2 weeks I completely quit smoking.

Smoked my last cig the day I got my first kit on 12/4/2011. It was a V2 and I've updated a thousand times from that cigalike but give it much credit for getting me on the right track. I smoked one cig, a month after I started vaping (alcohol may have been involved [emoji483]) but never another one since.

I cut down easily to 3 from 30 my first week, then back up to 6 for a few weeks. After 35yrs of smoking. Haven't even had a real urge for one since. That was Spring 2011. Took me 4yrs. to feel safe enuf to throw out the remaining pack and ashtrays tho, lol.

I've had it easy tho, I'm not around smokers often and don't Party or drink at all which seems to be the downfall of many. Gosh I sound boring now.

I started vaping about 2 years ago and went back to analogs about 4 months later for dual use. I went back to solely vaping about a year ago but had a few one night back in January when my mother died while I was hammered drunk at a wake my buddy threw for her the night she passed. I decided that was the last day I'd smoke and other than lighting one occasionally for my girlfriend when it's windy and she's having trouble, I haven't had nor wanted one.
