Do you think the fda will regulate everything?

IF I'm actually 'addicted to nicotine', my choice of the delivery system should be of no concern to my government, and they should definitely not be allowed to spend my tax money trying to eradicate the method I've chosen.

    AGREE 100% :headbang:

I think your post should be engraved on a plaque and given to the members of Congress.

I believe that too. I have never bought into the 'all politicians are crooks' stuff that has become increasingly popular the last few years.
I believe there are actually people who enter into politics because they believe they can do some good; and I believe it's true on both sides of the aisle. The trick is to sort them out.
The real trick is to make sure they keep moving up the political ladder without party support.
In other words, I agree with the guy who said you only see this in local politics.

    Very true.

I recently ordered a bunch of vape gear online and was asked for my name and address and paid by bank transfer. No age info required and this is one of Canada's largest web vape resellers. My 3 year old has a bank account. She can't quite spell yet, but that isn't far off.;)
I hope your 3 year old isnt smoking lol. I do see vaping as a healthier alternative to smoking tho. As I've said before. I would rather teens vape than smoke. Yes maybe as fda says. It's a gateway to smoking which is a stretch imo. But they would smoke regardless if they are willing to after vaping. Kids will be kids.

How do they tax online sales

I would imagine, if they feel there is enough sales online, they would ask those companies to tax the residents by zip code, and or turn over the records. This is pretty common for larger retailers like Dell & HP. Not sure if they will go after that segment.

I must be on a watch list!

    No more vaping for me.....
No joking that's exactly what you are on. I am in Canada where you cannot buy nicotine(wink wink) because it is illegal. Well a year ago I order two liters of VT nic that got confiscated at customs and destroyed and ever since then all my packages get stuck at the border and are opened. All my gear that I order they let through but no nicotine for DIY or ejuice. So obviously my name is tagged. Welcome to the club Tommy.

I would like to "like" your post but it is too sad, too frightening to actually like it.

How do they tax online sales
Here in Az. and some other places they are going after RYO consumers. One reason to RYO was to avoid paying the state tax, very cheap at the time,a can of tobacco was 12.00 online. You could roll up a carton with that. Now they are going after those people, going back years. On the news the other day they told about how the powers that be are going after this 80 year old man who owed 10,000 dollars in unpaid back taxes. How they get this info is anyones guess, but look out, here they come.

My sister bought her smokes online for years and paid with her debit card. She got a tax bill for several hundred dollars. The tax man has his ways

BTW: she started vaping exclusively a couple of years ago. Vaped for about 6 months and now neither smokes nor vapes

Honestly I smoked two cigs today. Maybe I'm missing up. At times I have found it easier to quit with a tobacco pipe. I'll probably always smoke pipe and some cigars. Sorry if that sounds bad in this forum. I'm OK with ditching cigs. Especially a daily habit but I guess it's all relative

So many anti smoking ads and ANTZ tho. Now I feel like ANTZ arent the biggest enemy. These convos have been going on for a couple years on this site. Was it only after that rough draft of the regulations came out last year. I thought vapers on here were just being government haters. I didn't know this was a serious issue or our government was this stupid, greedy, and corrupt

I suggest you read American history.......When you get right down to it, Government REGULATION, was the main reason for the Original Tea Party, The Declaration Independence and the Revolutionary War, soon to be followed by the Civil War. They were all about people not agreeing with the RULES made by the government.

Too me it's not about Vaping at All. Vaping is just one more area they are sticking their noses into, where it don't belong.

I hopefully will never smoke cigarettes again, but I have 3 humidors full of the best Cuban cigars available and I will be smoking them. I don't inhale cigars and generally only smoke while golfing or hanging around the pool (5-10 total per summer).

Yes, it was... Every war is seen, at the time, as the War to end all war. So far the US hasn't had a war since WW2.. I guess it's working. We have had Military actions but NO WARs.

FWIW, I'm not completely sure the first one, ever ended. I assume you are counting the one with the Brits as the first.

It's all part of being the ANIMALS called HUMAN. While we might prefer to think we are civilized.. We are at the base still just animals. The #1 predator on this planet. A predator needs prey. It's when we forget that we are animals, that WE become prey, ourselves. Often to the predators we elect.
