Yeah, he's probably a better singer too.

I've lurked for a while and finally decided I should register and contribute.
I've been smoking for about a decade, to the tune of a pack and a half a day. When I first heard about ecigarettes I decided to try them. My mistake was going for the cheapies. I tried three different versions and some from the gas station before I gave up and continued to analog for another year and a half.
Recently, however, an ecigarette store opened in my town. After some research, both on sites like this and a few threads on 4chan, I walked in to that store with a better idea of what I want.
I am now the proud owner of a KGO and I use stardusts almost exclusively. I alternate between a strong menthol for regular vaping and flavored "desert" juices for some variety. At the beginning I would still augment with an analog here and there, primarily when i wake up, after dinner, and before bed. But after a week i didn't even want those.
last sunday i asked my sister in law for a cigarette... and it was nasty.
I think I have finally kicked the habit, and we're in the process of converting my father in law and brother in law as well.![]()
Thats what Im talking about...
Best Noob advice yet!!
it's been 3 weeks since i quit tobacco, and i had a setback. I was too aggressive in cutting the nicotine (went from 18 mg down to 9 in that time), i craved a tobacco cig, badly, and smoked one.
What i've learned from this is don't try to cut the nicotine too fast, because it will catch up with you. I still am doing a lot better than before, but i need to give it more time. Hey, I only smoked one tobacco cig in 3 weeks, way way better than the 400 cigs that I would have. i don't feel bad upping my nicotine level and taking it down more gradually. I'm at 12 mg now with the e-cig, and i'm not craving the camels.
I got into this 2 weeks ago and have found that i have spent a good deal of money on the initial setup and a huge amount of different flavored liquids but at the same time i also haven't haven't had a smoke in those 2 weeks so i consider it money well spent, now i just have to convince my wife that its money well spent(she still smokes). It does cost money but now that i have found a few favorites that i'm sticking with i can see the cost really dropping fast.

Hi! It's time to give a shout out to PaporPlas- Wah-Hoooooo! I guess this post will be moved but I wanted to update you on my DIY. Lost-10ml of yeecch! Gained- an excellent DIY recipe for tobacco from pinellas pete and 15mg of groovy tobacco flavors. Since the tobacco flavors were my second attempt at DIY I was pleased. I'm vaping 24.7 mg DIY Marksboro, right now, and it rocks! It really tastes like a Mar_boro.
Once again....thanks for one of the best threads on these forums PaporPlas! I guess you can see from my banner that I'm doing well.

So, newb question, but when do I know it's time to change the atty head or cart? Do they just stop working or are there some indicators?
Superb info. I made all these mistakes, and then some - like sitting on my carto and nicotine-ifying my rear end at work.
Hmmm, I made some mistakes as a teen smoking. I was talking to my mom (who I was hiding my smoking from) and I had a lighter in my pocket that I was fidgeting with. Filled my pocket with butane, then sparked it by accident. Pulled my hand out real fast and smelt burning hair. Luckily my mom didn't notice
32 years later, I'm not hiding anything and glad to be off tobacco. I'm making dumb mistakes and learning from themand hoping to make some classic one.
