Forgot to post the pictures of what I got. Everything came in quick, about 4 days... Nicotine doesn't have any weird odors. Will definitely order again from wizardlabs.us again!!!

Sent from my Epic 4G Touch running CM9

That all looks AWESOME! You should make a post just about this in the e-liquid Forum.

Been using my new VV Tube....NICE!

I love this thing! Charge it once and it goes for days. While I'm draining one of the batteries the other one is on the charger. Never out of power and very easy to charge. I was getting tired of screwing in my 650 mAh & 900 mAh batteries every night. Sometimes forgetting and not having enough power for the day. Now, it's just vape for a couple of days then swap out the battery from my VV Tube and slip the other battery on the charger - no USB mania. Easy Peasy. : )

I have also begun using my Fluxomizers & tanks that didn't work with my ego type batteries at 3.7v. Now I just click the volts to 4.0 and what "sucked" before now vapes nicely. Juices that didn't taste too good at the set 3.7v I'm not able to find a sweet spot with the 3.0 - 6.0 vari volt buttons. vaping has become fun and enjoyable again. : )

Comes with two 2200 mAh batteries, double charger, couple of 510 atomizers and the nice satin black Tube.

$94 - great deal!

I got a syringe with my CE2's and use it with my Fluxomizers as well. Makes it very easy.

Hello all but esp. PaporPlas! Thought you'd like an update on how I'm doing.....I guess my banner says it all.

About two weeks ago I visited my cousin who first helped me out by directing me to this forum. She gave me a plastic bag (like you get at the Kroger) with 75-100 bottles of all kinds of e-liquids she no longer wanted because of the nicotine level. She also stood by her kitchen sink and mixed me 3 5 ml bottles of her own e-liquids: pear, watermelon, and vanilla cappuccino! She showed me the basics of DIY and gave me PG, VG, Nic e-liquid (48mg & 24mg both PG) pipettes, a syringe, latex gloves, empty drop bottles and everything but flavoring so I can mix my own e-liquid.

She also gave me several "old" batteries with an adapter that works with my Riva 510 SE. I'll be vaping for months before I could use up all this e-liquid. I've only had one dud bottle that wouldn't vape. Most surprisingly good flavor so far is a toss up between raspberry truffle and blueberry muffin! Most disliked, so far, is Peppermint; but I'm so grateful to try them all out. Ordered two new 900 mah batteries the other day. Thanks for your help and I guess I am one very lucky noob!

(oops! sorry for such a long post!)

As a fellow noob, I would also add to your list--Don't Get Overwhelmed. The price didn't scare me off, but the overload of information almost did.

When I first came on here and saw all the terms and choices--PG, VG, 510, 808, cartomizer, tank, nic levels, VV, etc. I almost ran for the hills. It seemed so complicated and so much work compared to opening a pack of analogs. But since I really wanted this to work, I told myself I didn't have to learn everything the first day. I tried to sort out the information I needed to get started from the information that would be necessary to take the next steps on my vaping journey. I didn't want to start out filling Boge cartridges (although I've moved onto using them with a drip tip and I love it). That was too intimidating right off the bat. I didn't need to know the condom method that first week. I could buy pre-filled cartridges and just see if I liked this whole vaping thing. So I bought a vapor king, screwed the atty to the battery, stuck a pre-filled cartridge to it and I was good to go. That simple.

I also ordered sample juices and empty cartridges, which I started using on Day Three or Four, but for those first few days, I kept it simple and manageable. Once I knew that vaping was something I enjoyed and found that it replaced my need and desire for analogs, I came back to learn more tricks and techniques, bought a couple of craft storage boxes to hold my cartridges, batteries, attys, etc. Bought a couple of essential oil binders to hold my juices (extra nice because I can pick the whole thing up and shake it a couple times a day instead of individually shaking each bottle of juice). And I ordered a Joye eGo C and a Joye eGo T because I like to use the C at home and the T when I'm running around and want something small and thin that fits neatly in my pocket. I also ordered Stardust cartos and they work great for me.

Today is my eleventh day without analogs and I feel great. Every day I come on here and read a little more, learn a little more, meet a few new people, but by doing it a little at a time, I don't feel swamped with information and I can enjoy vaping without feeling like I'm in a country where everyone speaks the language except me.

To make sure you never run out of juice -- go to Walmart & buy some glycerin; add some menthol crystals to your supplies order; dissolve a small quantity of crystals in some vodka; make your own menthol juice with the glycerin & a little of the menthol flavored alcohol ( dilute to the right viscosity by eye). The strong flavor & copious vapor will get you by while waiting for you regular juice order. I get my juice from mypvshop.com two or three days after I order.

One thing that i have personally noticed. If you aren't satisfied with the throat hit you may not continue using it and head back to smokes. When buying your first make sure you buy one that will satisfy that craving. My first was a 6v unit but wasn't variable. Yesterday i got a VV Lavatube. to me the vv seems the way to go .

I smoked Marlboro 100's for 26 years or so and quit within three days of buying that first unit. I'm sure it only worked because the throat hit for me was comparable to my Marlboro's

I spent about $280 my first 2 weeks not counting the $125 I spent on The awful blu. I did get $100 of that back. Been analog free for 4 weeks now, so I am ahead of the game with money. Now I have plenty of juice to last. If I would have seen his post o start, I probably would have saved abou $40 on shipping, but I kept ordering just a couple of things at a time figuring I had enough. Now I know, have plenty on hand so you never run out and have plenty of variety.

I started with the volt and 3 batteries. If are going with that type of system, make sure you have at least 4 batteries, plenty of juice and extra carto's and different flavors so you dont get bored. Good thing for me is because I got some sweet favors too, I have lost 6 pounds. I just puff away on the sweeter flavors at night in bed and that satisfies my sweet tooth with no calories.

I want to thank you for this post. I'm two weeks into vaping and trying really hard not to sneak in analogs. The amount of info out there just about had me throwing in towel and giving up on the idea of vaping. It all seemed way too techie and complicated. Then I came across your post and it really helped me get things in perspective. When it comes to vaping I can't tell my .... from my elbow. I can't even tell you the name of the set up I have, other than it's an Ego something and I've no idea what the thing the liquid goes in is called, but it's helping me stop smoking so it's all good.

No problem. It's all very overwhelming at first, but watching video tutorials helps. Off topic--my daughter went to Boston University, met a nice boy from Quincy while there, and they will be getting married this July. I was just up for a visit a couple of weeks ago.

If you have any questions you don't want to share with the board, send me a private message and I'll try to help. Or if you just want some support for resisting the analogs. We can stumble through this foreign land together. :) It's been twelve days without an analog for me.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. I went back to Eastern Vapor today to get a back up which the nice guy who runs it, reliably informs me is a "pass through". I even got some more "thingies that the stuff goes in" along with more "stuff"! ;)

I smoked 2.5 pad of analogs when I started vaping. I smoked right along with vaping for about a month and a half. My smoking immediately decreased by 90%! One day I woke up and thought, " I think I'll try to skip the analogs today and just vape." It was a little rough but I got past it. I was smoking 10 or less analogs a day while vaping. My philosphy (for what it's worth :) ) was that I was still waaaaay ahead of the curve. I figured if I smoked 10 or less analogs a day for the rest of my life and vaped along with it I was still better off. Don't rush or push yourself. Ditching analogs is no easy feat. Wait until the time is right, for you, and you'll ditch the analogs in your own way, in your own time, and with success! I believe it because this is what happened to me. The analog breaker? I wanted the flavor of vaping over the flavor of smoking. I think you're doing great!

I think I'm about ready. I got a beefier set up today with some juice that I really like and I'm taking the two cartons of Marlboros I have in to give one of the girls at work tomorrow. Experimenting with different flavors seems to be helping and the non fruity ones are steering me away from analogs. I'm making sure I keep the original ecig I got in my bag as a spare, plus the pass thru that I plan on using in hotel rooms and at home and the eGo for more discreet vaping when I'm on the road. The only issue I'm not sure about is instead of rushing outside or to a smoking room when I'm in the airport, where to have a sneaky vape.

Hello Everyone,
I start vaping a week ago today, I should have started years ago, but I didn’t know. A good friend said to me “ why don’t you try the e-cigarettes“.
I took it to heart and started researching and came across ECF and some of the old timers were suggesting to the babies that they may like the ego, of course I didn’t know what the eGo was at the time, so I Google “ego“.
To make a long store short I bought an eGo-T kit and 3 bottles of 10ml @ 23mgs, but I found out that I need 36mgs for the morning hour, because I smoke 3-4 analogs back to back to back to get my nicotine level up and then I am okay with the 23mg for the rest of the day.
On the first of June I plan on buying another eGo kit; the C kit, and a couple of bottles of 36 mg to use for the morning hour, and totally stop using the analogs forever.
History: I’m been smoking right at 45 years and the last 15 years I've been using RYO analogs, because I like the higher nicotine and I like using nicotine (did I already say that?).

Thanks for listening.

PS. does anyone vape the nicotine base without using flavoring?

You can but it won't really taste like anything. I think flavor would be something we need psychologically when trying to quit.

When trying to quit, it's easier if your mind and body don't get the feeling that they're being deprived of anything in any way. Whether it be something we're used to ingesting, tasting, or a part of the physical habit / ritual itself.

That's why many start out using juices that taste similar to their old brand. That way the only thing you'll really be missing is lighting something on fire. Most of us get over that pretty quickly, but I've never met a pyromaniac vaper so I can't say for sure.

We get over the flavor part pretty quickly too and getting to use all of the other great flavors out there really becomes a bonus to switching. But I do think your body would want to be tasting something as part of the inhaling.
