I am sure my actions will upset some, but rules are rules... I understand everyone wants to be updated on the progress .. and I know many have invested time and energy on it's progress, but there can not be any exceptions or this could be an on going occurrence .. there are places in the forum where suppliers and associates can freely discuss any business related topic..

Thank you for understanding

did it wick well or have issues, did it work like it should.

The 510 prefilled is flawless,

I finished its ry4, then added a little apple and left for a while and it has been working fine, in fact at first I thout it was an r4, it's resting now that was when I got an empty r4 which also works great but the vgo can't handle it.. not my winston peg then I messed with the cup lid and it leaks, (but this is the r4, not the 510prefilled which I think might be a 3.5)

the prefilled 510 xl ones are coming in at 2.9 and 3.0 ohms

i just checked, the prefilled is a real r4 with full sleeve, they made sure to use the real r4 in thier kits , i figured as much

Bad, are you telling us that the prefilled ones are different from the empties? I'm lost. Or are they the same as long as they are the true R4?

Hope you're feeling better. :)

thanks katya, still on nyquil and sniffles but feeling better.

yes they are the same as the real R4, i thought they wherent. so its a good thing.but its a point lower in ohm versus the empty 808 but works incredibly well, a few others should have thier tomorow that i sent and they can give their result, but so far me and vjohn feel the same. it vaped flawlessly until the end. my 808 works very well but not this well(wicking wise)but im using octane juice versus the runny dekang prefilled juice . my juice is pretty thick and these are unmodded in anyway. The plugs are in on the prefilled one too which is shocking

but most importantly, NO LEAKING OR GIRGLING. that makes this such a more enjoyable experience, no worrying about leaks or ruining the bettery or getting girgling. If some dont wick to my high expectations i can always ptb it but so far i havent had that need. Its actually wierd not really having issues and im looking for them and posting them as I go and there isnt anything truly problematic with these. ( the real R4 )

when they get low on juice you get a occasional dry taste, so turn the the e2 around to soak wick and vape, im guessing the wick doesnt fully keep wet when the juice is low since its string and positioned god knows how in the tank, is it scrunched into one corner, is it wrapped around the stem, then when you vape and the e2 is flat is juice moving away from all the wick etc... so no matter what that will be an issue depending where the placement of the wick in the tank is. thats been my only issue so far.

what do you mean lgd, what happened

What happened was I inadvertantly violated the rules. It seems I am not allowed to discuss my interactions with the manufacturers on the open forum. So.....

Im so sorry to hear about your mother, i had a loss in june so i feel you, i hope your coping well.

Glad to see you back to business.

martinez will be back in the office in 9 days. he flew to yi wu

O hi leaford! wow, that's interesting, and what's the Fusion model?

Good to hear from you Leaford, insightful post. One thing we've been discussing on this thread has been the issue w/ QC so it's interesting to hear your viewpoint on their facilities. They seemed to have the ability to make these changes by the week in some cases, so it's not surprising to hear that. On the other hand, the QC has been an issue, some people have been getting 'frankenstein' cartos full of surprises, wrong orders, etc. The true r4's have been getting good reviews so far.

All in all, those of us that have been using these since the beginning feel they beat filler cartos hands down. If we can get consistent products I'll be happy.

Sorry guys, but as I said above, it seems I just can't discuss anything of substance outside the suppliers forums. So I can't answer your questions and inquiries here. Instead, I invite you to open a thread in the Bloog subforum, I'd be more than happy to discuss anything there.

Thanks, Bad. I think I'm ready to try again. [My first attempt was not successful, but that was some time ago, R2 3/4?]

Now have some chicken soup and go to bed!

NO NO , please no, dont go buying on the count of my R4 thoughts and my opinions. wait until more is said about the R4 from other posters in the next few days.

Oh, don't worry. When I say I'm ready I mean probably another month or so, and I'll buy locally, perhaps from Bruce at CoV. I've been following this thread from day 1 and I've learned my lessons. Besides, I wouldn't buy anything without Br's permission. :p

But I do have a suggestion; why don't you start a new thread, when the dust settles, dedicated solely to Revision 4. Technical support, tutorials, tips, complaints--but for R4 only. I think it will make everybody's lives much easier. What do you think?

I wasn't trying to find out about the eGo battery, but I have thought about buying one like this. If I did, then I would make a desktop charging station for it. This station would have a fitting in it so that the battery could stand up in it. Then anytime I wanted a vape, I'd just pick it up and use it. When finished, just put it back in to keep it charged and ready to go for the next vape.

Like this?

Why is it so difficult to find American vendors selling the Kr808 versions? CoV is out.

Also, a question about taste quality. I initially thought the R3 XL 510's I tried were higher resisted, but I've come to find they were lower than I thought. Are the higher resisted CE2's better with non-fruity/candy flavors? I found the sharp taste quality of the ones I have just doesn't seem right with tobacco, chocolate, and coffee flavors due to that taste quality.

Have you checked one to see if maybe it's glue burning? any way to get pictures maybe?
I also mentioned a possible confusion about sying the words 'burnt taste' a long time ago.
(Lots of words have been used, chemical, plastic, burnt, glue, sealant, hairspray, burnt, dirt sock, dry, and each one could be a different problem)

Someone even thought they put 1ml in it, and it was only 0.1 ml

Have you dry burned a brand new one or an old one?
And what brand of juice would you be trying next? I hope you're not adding any water either, you mentioned some diy mixes too.
Is there gunk on the coil?

1. No glue that I can feel. I probably should have said a 'dry vape' taste rather than burnt.
2. Yeah, I remember that post about the 0.1ml. How embarrassment! I've tried them out with everything from 0.5ml to 1.6ml.
3. I've dry burned a used one that was a little gunked up, but most of them aren't blackened at all. As a matter of fact I thought at one stage the wick had come out of the coil completely as it was so clear (but it was still there).
4. Egads - no water ever. That's what they invented Vodka for instead :p
I mainly use straight juices either 100%PG or 20%VG--80%PG. I only put a few drops of Vodka in for throat hit if needed. And even it has been used to clean out the syringe so it has traces of juice in it too.

I haven't taken photos yet as I don't know how to pull it apart. I'm also a little reluctant to sacrifice one as it took ages to get these. My last order from the US cost a minimum of $35 for shipping on a $200 order. It makes it tough to buy one or two packs of cartos to try so I tend to wait a bit and then order up big, including stuff I don't really need :D But that's just the way it is here in Oz.

Of course, I will slaughter one for the cause, when I know how. I guess I'll need to learn how to post pics as well. The thought of learning two things in one day makes my head hurt :?:

More to follow . . .
