I just purchased 60 0f the these and am hoping they are great. Any tricks I should know of?

Give them a try and see what happens. They may work beyond your expectations and you won't need any tricks. If you have a problem, then maybe someone here can help you nail it down.

same here, im seeing double and over thinking things, later br.

Bad;
I'm a real simple guy,(stop laughin back there!!), You an V1 and BR and all you guys are doin great stuff and all but all I want is a good strong vape that doesn't go away.Seems like I'v got that with these. Don't know what rev # these are but after doin the PTB thing these are doin great!!! Filled and COMPLETELY emptied this XL twice today. Thought it went sour on me once until I went to fill it again. Syringe stuck into it was just suckin air!!. Shorties do great to but this XL seems to go for a while.
Keep up the good work guys.
BTW try dropping 3 or four into a glass of water and drop a denture cleaning tab in. Cleans em up SHINY!!!! Just rinse w/water and put them into some everclear to blow the water off/ let em dry and burn em and they act brand new!!

I got the 808 ceramic e2's today. I filled 2 of them and keep checking for leaks....but nothing. Probably lucky, but I'm happy thus far. I purposely did a dry burn on one and didn't on the other......there is a noticeable taste difference. I am going to leave them on their sides overnight to see if they leak....fingers crossed. ;) If they do not, I will fill some more(I have 15) up and test again. Baby steps. :)

Any advice?

BTW.....the one that I dry burned tastes fantastic filled with WoW 555 from V4L.

Advise, yes...

Check the threads on Every carto BEFORE you fill it.

Don't leave the cartos attached to the battery Untill you are sure they do not leak.

I'm a little confused, I got the first generation E2s in 401 thread, and except that nasty primer, haven't had any problems. Mine don't leak or have wicking issues, am I missing something?

If your order was recently shipped, I really doubt that you got the first generation.
If you have ceramics, I think they're the R3 version before the currently improved one that we might hear about in something like 3 days, maybe 2 now. It's 10something a.m. there in a wonderful new day, I'm waiting to order the more expensive ones hopefully soon.

:)

Earlier today I had a KR808 XL that had a dry wick on one side. Post #1771

After my nap, I pulled the wicks up out of the tube for an inspection. Didn't see anything wrong, so I crammed them back down to the bottom. I have been using it every since then and it is working fine. I can only guess what was wrong. When I get a dry wicker in the future, that may be the first thing that I will try to fix it. I wonder if this would have fixed some of the earlier ones that did not wick well.

Just got my first ceramics. First one out of the pack about 30 minutes ago. Loaded it with raspberry juice 70% PG / 30% VG, and it's making clouds of vapor and very clean taste. I syringe filled and haven't seen any leaks yet. If the rest of these are like this one, I wish I'd ordered 100 of them instead of 10. I think I'm going to use this one mostly for the next few days to see how well it holds up. So far it's working as well if not better than the best of the plastic ones I have.

I know a sample of one is too small to consider, but hey, I've only had 30 minutes so far! Just very happy with this one.

Well, maybe mine don't leak because I don't fill past the cup? I was told that because mine have 7 holes in the white plastic center cap, it's most likely the first gen of E2.

My order from e-liquid.cn has finally shipped, and I belive they are R3. I hope they are at least as good as these, if not better, and that I get them sometime this month.

 7holes?
I mean... nothing wrong with 7 holes, but I thought the coil loops wre too small during the 7hole inner cap. Was it you who had an order on hold and didn't ship until recently? I think I remember a bus that was kept waiting and waiting for their order to ship not too long ago. That's why I thought you had the recent r3.

My older 7-hole 401's didn't leak either, but the wicking was a little weak if you vaped too fast. I got some of the newer ceramic 401's in my last order, and they wick much better.

It was probably the nap. Everything is better after a nice nap. :)
