v1john, theres a million to choose form and not all are good, some fiber glass, some arent fully heat resistant and i dont see the braided silica one
Maybe before they make drastic changes I would like to see an inner cap with the inner rim rounded instead of squared.
It has been too difficult to replace properly, so what I'm trying right now is I took the inner cap and with very small scissors I cut very small amounts off of the outer edgdge of the lip or rim that goes around the cup. Then I put it in without messing too much with it, and replaced the o-ring and mouthpiece, and by that time it must have worked itself in properly.
That's what I'm vaping right now, let's see how it does
If someone posts a pic of the inner cap I can photoshop it and show you what I've done.
So far so perfect.
Yankee802 how long did you wait before e-liquid.cn has finally shipped your order ? When did you order your e2 ?
I order mine on saturday but it still in processing !
Thanks
oh i thought it was no wider and thicker then a shoelace.
vjohn, i did the same thing to the inner cap using a surgical scalpel..
I did that already. Also tried it with a plastic one from an earlier E2. The brass prototype has a taper that does about the same thing.Maybe before they make drastic changes I would like to see an inner cap with the inner rim rounded instead of squared.

I actually cut the outer edge, not the inner one. If you cut the outer one it goes back in place so perfectly, but I let the middle ring and mouthpiece do the final seating of it.
I also cut two very small parts where it lines up with the slots, these I did do on the inner edge, and they're extremely small, they're not even notches, they're just tiny shavings off of the rim's squared edge.
...good to see y'all did that all ready, I'm just hoping all the others just now getting them know what we're talking about

v1john, thats what i said, cut the wicks off at the slits then add the new flat wick into the lots and a little down into the tank, this way its similar to the ptb i made, cut off wick but still some at the slits touching the other wick just like it touches the ptb now. no i have not packed the slit with wick but i i will try that too.
i still use ptb just to place some on either side, this centers the cup and stops any leaking until the new ones arrive.
but with this flat briaded wick form posts above, that is hollow and might be the perfect wick to replace the ptb, so while its flat we can stuff it in the slit and since its wide it can act like the ptb.

I feel so left out. All of my E2's work just as well without PTB. I have all of these folded up strips and can't find a cartridge that needs any of them. What am I doing wrong? You know what else works like PTB?
PTB!
It works! It's cheap! Embrace the PTB!![]()
