Bad - Like this. Four out of five in the first pack opened has this small opening slot around the wick I don't remember being there on the last ones I got from COV. ....... can you say consistently inconsistent...? I'm not quite ready to open the rest of them right to check the others. I guess I will check as I go. But like you keep saying, we shouldn't have to do this. :glare:

not what i mean, if you close the inner plugs center hole it doesnt draw at all, if you make the inner plug center hole as large as the cup it draw juice to the wick better for some reason and feels as if its not as restricted as when using it as is.

You're right! If you close the inner plug center plug it doesn't draw at all.

many have stated it tastes better without the inner plug as well, i think thats the reason. when i enlarge the center hole it tastes more like it does when I remove the inner plug
That's why I tail pipe these suckers, heheh. As far as I'm concerned, that's vaping in it's purest form. However, most testing I do is an attempt to favor the user who wants to use them straight out of the box. In other words, I don't always practice what I preach.

I love the stupidity of this freaking country.

i just saw a commercial for chantex, the drug to quit smoking, so it goes on and on about the benefits and how it helps you quit even though you can smoke for the first weeks and then the warnings come up which are suicide and a few others.
2 commercials later , pops up a lawyer commercial about"" has anyone in your family died or suffered injuries due to chantex, if so call 1800-xxx-xxxx etc.......

what a backwards country

Honestly I haven't tried the "latest and greatest" and like always I see potential in this concept.. carto designs in general are improving.. even in the filler type ones... I like I am sure most agree is that it is important for something to "generally" work out the box.. THEN go mod crazy...

It looks like these are hit and miss.. I really wished they did proper R&D prior to allowing sales of this. from the get go... but that is how this company rolls I guess.

One advantage I am sure the idea will be spread in the manufacuturer world and a first production of a quasi-problem free carto will be out...

Is the concept of having the ability to dry burn.. fillerless..blah..that's a side thing IMHO.. the element being exposed is key. So even if a carto has filler.. dry burning like an atty is killer.

The dry burn is what sold me from the beginning, LGD.

Not so stupid: Chantix probably paid the government millions for the right to sell their snake oil, and the lawyers are going to make millions suing them. So basically the customers are paying millions to both parties. Par for the course here in the good 'ol USA.

lol, hes been rubbing off on me.

ive never had this much vapor before yet im so greedy and want more more more.
im spoiled by the ptb e2, and since its not really a cartomizer and more of a upside down atomizer. Im going by this annoyance meter. To drip i would use 3 drops so it doesnt flood, that would last 5 long drags the most plus i had to always look out for leaking depending on the atomizer.

with the e2 i can fill it with 28 drops on regular e2 or 1.8ml worth on the XL e2 and that goes for well over 100 drags and stopped counting from that point and just kept vaping.
So to me the e2 wins hands down.

There is 1 thing im pretty sure of, many people are not using these like a analog. the reason i say that is that when i stick to using it like a analog i dont run into any issues at all. but its hard to do when you get this much vapor and you just want more and more. I mean watch someone smoke a cigarette, they take a 2 to 3 second drag at most and then they dont re drag for 20 seconds at least.
but when watching most vaping videos many people including myself have a habit of back to back dragging with e-cigs and mods.
Even i take long drags but only becuase i want that super thick extreme vapor.
but on a hello,riva,ego,vgo,sb,v3, if vape like a analog and take only 2 second drags it really gives off more vapor then any analog and more then most cartomizers. its pretty amazing in that sense.

Hey you don't have to sell me. I'm sitting here using an XL 808D right now. In a regular "filler" carto I don't care much for the 808D, but these are actually pretty good... maybe better than the 510 (I can't decide). They're definitely different in how they vape from the 510XL though...

I think in the end, you and I and some of the others here will be proven right. Slowly but surely more people will start using these.

And if they don't... hey, more for us! ;)

I agree, I think ecf needs at least a video of two or 3 normal inhales like a cigarette and using a regular cigarette attery like I do. Inhales to mouth first, and about 15 seconds between drags, and without having to hold the cigarette like it's a full glass of wine, lol... just a 60 second video (3 cigarette drags x 15 seconds in between)

Just wanted to throw my two cents in as a regular user, not someone who is an experienced vapor or modder. I figure a lot of people that follow this thread like me wouldn't mind a basic users take on these things.

First off, Let me just say I am in love with these things. I've gone through 3 regular e2-r2s now and found the only time I've had leaking issues is when I accidentally drip directly into the cup. I don't have any mods yet, so all I've used this on is an eGo. I just pat it down on a paper towel and they are good to go. With protected batteries it really hasn't been that big of an issue for me. I tried PTBing a couple but I always end up doing it wrong and stuffing the ptb too far down into the cup. I'm sure with a little practice I'll get it, but I have shaky hands and the tweezers I use are too big.

First off, let me just say vaping these on a 3.7 tends to get a little harsh. The vapor is very warm, almost close to burnt. I just bought a little sister from someone in classifieds, and I can imagine these things been great at anything lower 3.7. I'm very eager to try it out. But really thats the only bad thing I have to say about them so far.

Whether you drip, use atty/carts, or even regular cartos nothing below 5v is going to come close to the vapor production and taste I get out of these. Even with all the problems mentioned in this thread I don't think I'll ever go back to using attys or filler cartos. When you get one that works perfectly nothing compares convenience or taste wise.

I just wanted to thank everyone who is doing their part to make these things better. You guys are really unsung heroes of the vaping community. These things have gone a long way to keeping me from dragging on another analog and I look forward to the e2s getting better and better.

If you have been browsing this thread and are just starting out like me, I would really recommend these to anyone. There is a bit of hassle getting things just right, but its well worth it in the long run. Anyways, just my two cents. Keep up the good work guys.

Bad ,your drawing looks familiar to me except for the airtube(to tall in your dwg.) it looks like a stripped 4081 carto I've been using for a couple weeks. The atomiser coil is low in the tube and if you leave the woven coil cover in place you can put in about 15 drops and vape until vapor drops off. Then rinse refill and continue to march. These atomisers run about 1.8-2.0 ohms so caution about keeping them wet is in order. The Woven tubing is the only wick.

So all you E2 masters out there I am in need of assistance. So I have one I performed the "brother" ptb mod on and it worked great. That said the liquid gunked the crap out of the coils. So much I get a burned taste now. I soaked it over night and dry burned the dookie out of it and even tried to scrape it off with a nail. Nothing worked. Any other ideas on how to clean the coil? Coincidentally without the PTB I do not get the gunk build up probably because I am not burning the same amount of juice.

I don't know if anyone else has tried this (or even if it's healthy) but I use some straight/unflavoured PG mixed with a few drops of Vodka straight on the coil when burning gunk off. It works OK with the juice I use, and smells kinda good when doing it.

On a side note, I also add a few drops of Vodka to my juice if I'm not getting quite enough throat hit out of it. (PS I use mainly menthol juices). Works for me :)
