and about the voltage: I know the post and/or thread was about the battery voltage, but I narrowed down the critical element to only the voltage that I need at the load of essence, under load, and nothing but the mere and relevant load, which is at the air stem. So if I could get 2 volts by whatever technological means applied directly at the center post (during the load is key though), I would still get the same vapor. (I'm not worried about the one and a half coil loops to the left on the left field of the cup, I can do without that loop and a half.)<by the way

edit add: In fact, now that the coil is spread out comfortably from one side of the cup to the other, I think I can do with a loop or two less :), and a slightly lower voltage (on the battery)
these ce2 cartos vape great, I can have a k808d1 battery shut down for recharge and the ce2 still putting out reasonable vapor
There is not one thing in this post that makes a lick of sense.

Ill tease you all with a beta pic of the R4, this is just the guts and NOT the pic of the fix for the slits. that will come tomorow.
That looks like shrink tubing on the stem. Whatever it is, it will probably eliminate, or at least reduce the leakage at that point.

The plastic cup did not have much of a problem with leakage here because plastic has enough give for a tighter fit. This kind of a fit is not possible when a metal tube is inserted into something as hard as ceramic. The leaky ceramic cups that I have inspected are a sloppy fit between these two parts.

You guys must have forgotten that we covered this earlier in this thread.
...

Perhaps you can refresh our memories.

I'm glad you mentioned this because I read it 3 times and every time I read it, I understood it less.

Perhaps you can refresh our memories.

That would be the discussion that ensued following Bad's wick burning demonstration.

so what is the temperature of the black gunk vs when it's all orange? maybe we did forget

Depends on the shade but probably around 980C

cloudsofvapor.com

any other ecf-registered stateside resources?

I noticed that ivape and awesomevapor doesn't have a mention to the revision level.

I got my sample Cartomizers from Bad and all I can say about this revision is HOLY COW AWESOME VAPING FROM THE FIRST FILL! It was a lot easier to widen the hole with a pin to use my own needle to fill. I am looking forward to their final revision more than ever. I wouldn't bother with the short ones and just get the xl's. I put a drip tip on as soon as I got one from the NW Vapors meetup Saturday and even with a full carto was able to sample drip many flavors right into the cup and after about 15 drags most of the flavors cleared and let me get back to my standard flavor.
These are so dang sweet!!
