I can''t find a dremmel for the life of me! What else can I use to cut one open? I went and tried to pull the cup out of a regular to be 100% sure they're R4....the cup broke into bits and I still can't get the sucka out! Sigh, I know they're not R4, the XLs, I just want to be able to post a pic to the supplier so they can see it too.

first push down on the cup
it pops the center pin out m, then you can pull on the pin and it will spereate form the cup
then pull out the cup

Got my Big Brother 3.7v parallel mod from Ken today. Two 14500's seem to have more of a kick than just one... maybe it's my imagination though.
Now if I just had a nice 3ohm or higher E2 to try it with (hmm....)
Anyways it's working fine with a PTB'd XL. Lotsa vapor and great flavor. It's nice to have a good VV mod for backup, though...

Oh! Quick tip on the whole "PTB the XL" thing: If you're tossing the filler ring and just placing the middle ring flat side down against the cup, DON'T use the short mouthpiece that comes with the XL. Try a longer mouthpiece from one of the older E2's, if you have one. It snugs up against the middle ring and doesn't leave that small gap between the two where juice can accumulate. Seems to help control the leakage better.

I just ordered some r4s because I'm getting annoyed messing with the ego XL carts. I can make them work but I have to play with them way too damned much.
Was reading through this thread and saw that people were getting "fake" r4s and was about to cancel my order until I noticed cloudsofvapor are selling the real deal r4 xls. Hooray. I'm hoping this will finally be the solution to my chain vaping so I can stop keeping a pack of smokes in the car for when the stupid cart/atty decides to stop wicking for me while stuck in stop and go traffic for an hour twice a day.

Edit: Also, anyone know the laws re: syringe/needle possession in texas? I've been searching but I'm a bit confused. I'm just going to go to the pharmacy and see what happens when I ask ...

In virginia I just need ID at the pharmacy, and they ask the purpose and I told them my electronic cigarette.

it welded permanently to the bottom carto piece, any ideas?

Someone asked a few posts ago how to cut the carto, I think it was you, Ghettogirl and couldn't find the dremel? Get a small pipe cutter, I got mine at Lowe's
Then work it around the carto and tighten it just a notch every now and then

the bottle says whats on it, i think its fried apple, and yes one of the 510 xl r4 is prefilled with ry4, i think 3 people got a prefilled one.
I brought the box in the house about an hour ago. My wife came home about then, so I had to take care of a 'honey do'. Now I'm trying to get some of these posts out of the way so I can open the box, and you ain't helping matters any.
