Yeah it has a ton of cotton in it when you get it... Also I stick a small screwdriver down beside the wick and make sure the wick is away from the juice feed channels. It's great for flavor, the stock coil will last forever, but I like twisted 28 ga way better.
You and suprtrkr both have recommended the 28 ga. twisted coil. I will give it a shot when I build my 1st coil.

I still can't get over the denseness of the vape. Very rich and I do not have to take as many hits to get to that satisfied point. Two or three hits; and I can put it down no problem.

Tried that once and decided to go and put a pot of coffee on while i waited for the coil to ramp up :)

Ripped the twisted coil out and put a single wire coil back in and doing it ever since that brief excursion into madness :)

My first proper tank (after a Kanger Subtank Mini - evil thing) was a Lemo 1, my second a Lemo 2. Never tried anything that i found better than the 2. Will not part with it. Have a friend who has 7 or 8 of them :)

I've never twisted wire and I am also curious about Clapton coils. I am like a kid with a new toy and looking to try different things.

Claptons huh, you probably shouldnt read my post (well probably no one should) over here in this thread then: claptons... overrated imo

I'll sum it up in the most least controversial way, and with the least number of possibly offensive words possible: Id rather listen to Clapton than build one :)

I am not going to build a Clapton lol. I found one place that sells remade Clapton wire. 25ft for 10.99.

I am not going to build Clapton wire. I found one place so far that sells pre-made Clapton wire; 25ft for 10.99. I am trying to find something similar for twisted but so far I've had no luck. My local vape shop will twist it for me but I did not ask them what they charge.

I really like twisted setups, the 28 gauge twisted will be good, I like 28/26 twisted in my lemo 2. The ramp up time really isn't bad, especially with decent wattage used initially. I also really like claptons, my only complaint with them is I keep finding they run better at higher than 4.0 - 4.2 volts, so I typically use claptons in devices I will be using on regulated devices, and they work well in the lemo. Of course, cut the outer wrap so it's just around the coil, not on the leads.

I think 25ft should get me 50 to 75 coils for 10.99. Compare that to 15 to 20 dollars a five pack for the non RTA coils, that’s still a heck of a bargain! Plus I get to test different ohm settings.

Ramp up time on 28 ga twisted too slow? You need a better mod. Lol. No busting but it's not that much metal. My Pegasus 60 watt mod at 40 watts is noticeably slower than my x cube 160 watt mod set at 40 watts. It's all about efficient coil flow. Also on the x cube I set watt mode to max and it puts 20% additional power to the coil for the first 2 seconds, then throttles back. Or push the button before you start dragging air across the coils.

I also buy UD premade Clapton, 26/32, 9 bucks for 15' at my local vape shop... It's well worth it. Claptons aren't overrated imo. They are really good.

I just bought 25 ft of 34/24 Clapton Coil, a Coilmaster 521 Ohm/Volt Meter, and some ceramic tweezers from lightning vapes. I should be good to go to try my 1st coil next weekend. And yes this baby is still vaping like a champ. Just refilled it at my work desk and not one drop was spilled or leaked. :)

BTW, Anyone interested they have a 15% off code that's running. lv15

I am still loving the LEMO2 and its only leaked once when I overfilled. I did my first re-wick a couple of hours ago, and no leaks what so ever.

I am still keeping it very simple and did the re-wick PBusardo's way. Simple as can be. The O ring did pop off just like he mentioned; put it back on and away I went putting it back together again with no issues.

I really like my Lemo 2. The only thing I'd change about it would be the capacity. 5ml would be ideal for me, but not a game changer. I carry a bottle of liquid with me whenever I go out, and with the top fill addition, refilling on the fly is a breeze.

I did find out really quick that snipping the wick just a tad short (just 1 millimeter on each side), quickly leads to leaks and gurgling. But that's easily remedied. I also had problems with the stock coil that came with, but after swapping out for a 28G twisted build, it vapes like an absolute champ now.

Highly recommend this tank.

I am new to all this RTA/RDA and to me this is the perfect advanced tank for a new want a be builder to get. Single coil to learn on, easy as pie wicking, and vapes great taste. Even PBusardo stated it tasted great and put out a big cloud.

The LEMO 2 is a simple balance of everything to me.

Thinking of joining the Lemo2 community here. Actually with new EU regulations around the corner I'm stocking up on everything important. I read somewhere to get a couple of the same tanks to have spares which I thought was a good idea. So I'm looking for a cheap good quality tank which will take me through the dark ages ahead . I guess I will be ordering 3 of them. Can you Lemo users recommend it? Or is there a better quality cheap tank out there?

Also that drip tip looks huge compared to what I use, too big for MTL hits I suspect?

I paid 35.00 dollars for mine and don't know if there is a better cheaper authentic out there and I looked for over a month. A lot of people compare them to Kafuns flavor wise and an authentic Kafun cost a whole lot more.

The drip tip is to large for MTL, but its 510 size, so most decent 510 compatible drip tips will work just fine. You can also shut down the air flow to next to nothing if you like that. I run mine 1/2 to full open.

I have a similar plan and will ordering two or three more before the end of this month. I am very new to this and think its as close to stupid proof as an RTA can be. Works for me just fine :)

Added this:
Wick it like PBusardo does, I posted his video in this thread. The last move is to push the cotton back away from the juice channels. Leave a good sized air bubble when filling. I think I fill to about .5 less than what it says I can fill it to. I'd rather have .5 juice in my containers than dripping down my Mod. It will leak if you block the juice channels or overfill.

Only downside I see is that there are no replacement parts available. I could order a Subtank and get loads of O-rings, bases & glass tanks. What to do?
I don't know the answer on your Subtank option. A lot of people love them though. I am also going to get some simple RDAs for home use. I do like my LEMO 2 a lot. Its great for driving and at work as a lot have already said.
