The FDA has stated that it will be announcing its deeming regulations in April, but it has been notoriously slow to act, so it could come out in summer or even fall. But that is just announcing the FDA's intentions.
Sooooo ....
We might have to wait till the Fall to know their deeming regulations ??
By that time ... Many here will be popping FDA Approved Anti-Depressants.
:p

Word about this is spreading. Got my attention. Ive been here for years on the forum watching. Listening. Waiting. Opened a very very successful line of ecig stores inside of malls. High quality gear and all. Ive signed the petition. I will encourage my customers to do the same. I just wanted to say...
"You are not alone in this. You do have allies."
Prolly wont say much again but ill be here. Watching waiting, doing my part with you.
Good Luck.
We all should contact our vendors and ask them to do the same.

I am here in the background and not able to get in here as often as I would like but I am
still doing whatever I can - Signed the petition too recently.

There really needs to be more than just a little over 13,700 on it.

I know anohter reason why it seems not too much is being done by many -- E-Cigarettes
users are the predominate ones looking in on and signing stuff... there are many people
who, just because they don't use it, feels it doesn't affect them so I tell everyone, user
or not, that signing it helps even those they don't know but who want to stay off cigarettes.

That is all I can do right now... :)

I guess I will have to buy me a good bulk supply and make my own if anything goes ape over
this from the FDA.

When will people learn that what this country needs is for the people to take it back, to
regain control over the politicians and make them do what they are supposed to do under the
Constitution?
And it is not only this battle - there are the gun control issues being fought now as well.

True
It's not just e-smoking under attack by the government.

Part of the problem too is that we here at the ECF (in the know) are the minority...
Most e-cig users are those who buy the little e-cigs at their local convenience story- much the same way they bought (or are still buying) their cigarettes. I assume that most have absolutely no idea what's going on. It would be interesting to see a poll on that.

Katherine Heigl needs to go back on Letterman with her Provari and tell Americans what the FDA is trying to do. I'm sure if celebrity star power got behind us, the message would be heard by a bigger audience.

The vaping community is like any other grass roots organization, we need more outreach.
Good idea ...
However, Hollywood celebs risk future film roles if they oppose
the views of the government, agencies, and the Mainstream Media
not to speak of opposing the views of BP.

On another thread here, this came up today. With Obamacare some smokers will face a increased rate of
over $5100 OVER your premium costs. So we have to get a move on and people's heads out of the sand.
The idea of going back to cig's will cost you big time. Pretty heavy sin if you ask me!

Just a Heads Up.

A member here on the ECF applied for Health Insurance and was told that because their Blood Test showed Nicotine in their system, they were Classified as a "Smoker". Consequently, the premium Skyrocketed.

You might think twice about vaping 72 hours Before you have any Lab Work done with regards to an Insurance or Work Application.

Why is 72 hrs.? Is that the time period the for serum levels to drop to trace amounts? Like with Pot does it factor in the fat cells of the user?
Does some else know? I think Obamacare just answered our question of Deeming Regulation.
