WHat I do not appreciate Is the few with some issues(still not sure how only a few have issues and there whole pack is bad )but then come on here crying that the whole product line is bad because they had a issue, If I see this continuing I will start deleting posts. This isnt referenced to you timothy but to Some who cry a river on our forum because there one pack was bad, There is something called a pm or email. if your having a issue then your having a issue, this doesnt mean that everyone else is, and just because the 5 to 6 people on ecf gather in one thread and discuss thier issue in tandem, again doesnt mean there is a massive issue.

Unless many of you have found the magic bullet elsewhere where vaping is heaven lets not turn a few issues that some might have into doomsday for a product Gotvapes released.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!

I have had wicking issues with the only Vortex carto I've tried out of 3 packs due to glue on one side of the wick ends so Im not really qualified to give a comprehensive opinion. HOWEVER........

I've got to say, I'm a little disenfranchised right now.I'm not sure which posts set you off like this or if you are in fact right about the posters being unreasonable or not but to pretty much call your customers cry babies over a product they are dissatisfied with one pack or not I think is a little disappointing to see. I wouldn't have expect this from you. and deleting posts? Unfortunately not all your posters will be reasonable or even mature but unless these posters are being extra unreasonable, derogatory or trying to sabotage, deleting posts looks shady. How are your customers supposed to trust you if it appears you are censoring the criticism in your forum.

The point of this forum is for you interact with customers, present your products and let people to leave their opinions and I understand NOTHING in vaping is fool proof but if someone is upset because they received a bad pack let them respond how they see fit and let others respond to their posts.Let the product speak for itself, and if you feel the need respond yourself do so in a courteous, respectful mannor.

Im sorry if I dont have all the facts I need to understand fully where you are coming from but keep in mind im not the only one who is going to come in to this thread late and draw these conclusions. I am a big supporter of Got Vapes and the industry as a whole and what nothing but success for you and this industry.Got Vapes has done more than most to provide the newest and most innovative ecig products out there including the testing you do (The one piece tip design as opposed to the Kranger [imposible to reassemble after fill] two piece tip... Brilliant!!) and you deserve credit for this but this kind of interaction is not the way to handle the bumps in the road.

I know it is frustrating but I also know you are capable of more.

Here, there, everywhere!
Danno are you using them on an 808? Maybe because I am using an adapter that is why I am getting leaks? Just a thought

I use the adapter and have no leaking. Even leave them off the batt sitting like in dannos pics and no leaking. Heck the one that is lose and spinning in the metal hasn't even leaked yet. Just keep filling it.

I've tried 4 so far from two separate packs. None have given good performance using a standard 808 bat. On two I removed alf and pulled the center tube up about a millimeter from the base and they work well. From where I sit the wicks are just getting pinched too much. I haven't had any problems with leaking unmodded or when doing what I stated above.

Perhaps there should be a different thread for dealing with technical issues so that gotvapes doesn't get a bad rap. Since most people will post problems. If they are working great I think people won't feel the need to get on and post. If they have problems even if it is a small segment of users, the majority of posts will be with problems. Just a thought. I don't think problems with these reflects poorly on gotvapes. Theses have much potential.

I think what Chris was reacting to was more of this panicky response if someone can't get something to work right after their first box and they make statements that more or less write off the whole line of this product when we can see, it is very apparent, that these actually have met with generally great success. Of course we are senstive to ABSOLUTE statements instead of saying, "this has been my experience" and compare notes and ask for assistance, tips, etc.

We put a TON of blood sweat and tears not only into this but everything we do, and we are concerned with posts that can so easily say things like these are crap and a fail and things of that ilk. So I appreciate your post but try to understand our frustrations at times with working so hard on something and people come in and make ABSOLUTE pronouncements in the face of many who have been experiencing great success with these.

I have purchased many products that came no where near my expectations but I woud never go into the suppliers forum and make absolute pronouncements on their effectiveness - "these are garbage, this is a fail". They may not be my cup of tea and I just move on knowing the vendor is challenged to try to appeal to a broad spectrum of customers knowing full well not ALL of his products are for ALL of his customers : )

Exactly - when things are going swimmingly people usually don't post as much as when they get frustrated and are trying to find answers, and I don't blame them for that- well said.

Good to hear...I find these also go through juice much slower...we will keep moving forward with these and press the manufacturer to address any issues and make them even better...we have had very good access to them.

edit: and with that I need to spend some easter night time with my wife : )

Mine are working perfectly, no modding needed what so ever and using them on my old V4L Batts, these things are cool !

I have KR808D-1 and eGo batteries that I use with the Vortex

I got one box. I've used two...over 6 fills on each one of them and they are still going strong.
I love how easy they are to set up and start using...

I've abused both of these on purpose to test their limits.
One is now modded and terribly abused (on purpose), and the other is still stock as it came from the box.

I find them worth the money so far.

Will I buy more in the future? Yes!
Will they be the only type of cartomizer I keep around? NO!

I've already gotten 13 bucks worth out of my Vortex, and I haven't opened but two of them so far :)
At 2.7ohms, it's not the best vape for every flavor/liquid I have (that's why I'll also keep a variety of cartomizer types around)...but it works and is quite good!

You shouldn't let a few negative statements scare you off. They work. And they work pretty well. They're not perfect and they have some bugs to work out, but considering that this is a brand new product that has been developed specifically for gotvapes, there's bound to be some initial difficulties. I think for the vast majority of people, the difficulties are pretty minor. I have spent a lot of money on things that just didn't work. I've spent even more time modding said things to get them to work. These aren't one of those products. They work right out of the box for most people. I for one am glad that Chris and Danno are working so hard to bring a new product to the market. There is no way for them to guarantee that every single one is going to work perfectly. I mean come on, even if they personally tried hundreds of these, they're not going to catch as many kinks as they are by releasing the product. It's just a matter of numbers. BTW, the last part of that rant wasn't directed at you specifically, just everybody.

I have posted with problems but don't let it scare you. I like them very much. Most have had great experience with these. My experience hasn't been perfect but with less than a minute a quick mod got them going. The 4 I have going didn't work great out of the box but.. All it took was pulling the tube off removing the white filler thing and moving the center tube up 1 millimeter. Popped the tube back on and they are great.

So... I took out my last 2 unopened Vortex (Vortices?) after giving up on trying to fix my leakers. I filled them with juice, sat them on the counter on their battery end overnight and woke up to... two empty cartos :(

I've got one on my desk now replicating my little experiment to see the rate at which it leaks and what not. It is a pretty slow leak, not like it dumping out the load like others have seen. It also appears the leak is coming through the battery connector, as opposed to it leaking between the outer tube and the collar of the battery connector.

So I'm guessing there's not a good seal with the wick and the slots on the interior tube. Since it's a slow leak, if I keep the cartos battery end up they'll probably be fine. These specific ones just aren't a great fill a bunch for the day and head out solution.

I look forward to the next rev to see what improvements will happen since I'm really in love with the concept.

I am wondering if they slipped up on yours and missed the gaskets or the gasket wasn't seated properly. If you want send those back and we can check. I'll PM you.

I also wanted to comment on these. I received my pack a few days ago. I really like the vapor from them, its very consistant, and thick. No wicking problems. I do have leaking issues though. One of mine started cracking on the bottom, (pacific island punch), and the other started leaking near the battery end. Ive been very careful with them. The mouth piece is pretty loose as well. I vote for these being metal with maybe a sight window.

3 out of my 5 were leakers. Fiddled with a couple of them, and got one to work most of one day, but I am getting alot of burnt gunk and dry hits. Seems like the majority have very good luck, and in a week or so I may try another box. I really like this concept, and the fact that so many people are having good luck leads me to believe that there was just a poor production worker with a houseload of kids and a nagging wife. He just couldnt keep his mind on his work........

So, I am going to try again.
