This is good news and a good point...the ones we beta'd weren't as easy to use your own drip tip although I will say I do like the mouthpiece...perfect on the lips... The Vortex is the first uncap, fill, recap on the market...

or toss my hands up in the air and say , I QUIT. lol

by the way clear style drip tips fit and work and i have had no leaks holding it upside down for 5 minutes.
so you can use a drip tip on the vortex

for testing, 3 to 4 refills a day for 2 to 3 days. the issue with cleaning is you need to pryu the tube off and remove the anit leak filter, clean , dry burn and place the stem cup back in, this will work but we warn that the tube wont be on extra tight at that point and if it does leak you know why.

Thanks for the info...is it possible to just soak them, let them dry, then do a dry burn with it assembled, or do you have to fully disassemble them to clean?

That's good to know...so the drip tip fits the inner tube snug enough to draw?

First let me say <with caution> YA FREAKIN HOOOOOO!!!!!!! I can not wait to try these and if they work as well as I believe they will this could be the end all for me.

I also want to address a little situation where PineappleDan offered up some of his own pendiing vortex stash to others ....including my self. Dude thank you that is one of the most un selfish things I have seen in a long time. I have a couple PIFrs that I keep in mind with things. Although most PIFrs have their hearts in the right place the sub forum just doesn't always sit right with me. Your offer was clear out of the blue and just totally blew me away. I love being part of this ....what has become..... The GotVapes family. If you need something my friend just knock call or pm and if I have it or a way to get it it is yours.

well a few of you have been with me every step of the way answering stupid questions and keeping the party going and I know a few of you are having trouble affording juice so I figured my friends deserve a chance to try these before they sell out. I'm on the WINNING side financially for right now, meaning I caught up on my bills and had a little spending cash, and I figured I'd share the wealth. Thanks rt, keela, and da for keeping the good times rolling here at the gotvapes forum!

Bah! I broke down and ordered a pack :)

I figure with all the hardware I've bought in the last week surely I can find SOMETHING I'll just stick with :)

Must... resist.. urge... buy... more... stuff...

Ok there, I'm better :) Considering my last order isn't in yet, I think maybe I'll wait to see if I like any of the gear I just bought before loading up even more. I'm hoping to hear good reviews, I really really want a set it and forget solution :)

To be quite honest with you I am happy with three days use. For two bucks a cartomizer that's 66 cents a day. I only cleaned a few times to test if you could actually do that with these but if I used these on a regular basis as my main vape (and I may just start doing that, I am that happy with them) I would be extremely pleased with 3 days and toss...no fuss...

I'm guessing with darker juices, like those from TV, this time will be shortened. I can only get about 2mls through a CE2 before the coil needs cleaning because of all the gunk. If these cannot "really" be disassembled for cleaning that may factor in.

sort of a trade off, better vape vs recleanable

but like i said you can clean them but once you pry off the tube then you have a tube that sits on the base like the ce2, if its leaks then you know why, hasnt been a issue but it can happen.

well if that's the case I'm OK with that. I have had really good luck with cleaning the CE2/CE2XL and not having them leak.

Whew... got my order in early this morning (2am!!) Glad I got some before they are all gone!!! I just started experimenting with CE2's (got 808D's) and I am loving those. NO MORE burnt cart tastes!!!

They are a bit of a pain to fill, I dont mind. But the Vortex looks like it is going to be the best thing around!!!

My poor mailman is gonna be attacked this week......

im truly loving the vortex, performance wise it cant be beat, is it perfect, nothing is but its a major step forward towards the perfect vape, you will all be trying it out soon and you will all see for yourself.

Daniel and I have tested 4 versions in the last 2 months heavily and we think they did a great job and we can always do better and even then im always looking for what else can be done and of coarse there are ideas that will be brought up and I will listen to everyones feedback and we will improve on anything we feel needs to be improved.

I will add a video up soon that should be sure to please.

But the clear CE2s have a silicone seal at the base which does help some. From the pics of the Vortex, I can't see any evidence of a seal. The beauty of the CE2s is that with a minimal amount of modding, using a syringe tube, they can be cleaned and reused many times with no issues. The syringe tubes don't crack, they will start fitting a little loose after a while so you either flip it or cut another one. Unless you screw up the wicks, ruin the seal or burn up the coil, they just keep on vaping.

I understand that manufacturers and vendors don't necessarily like things that last a long time. And I know the GV guys are really making an effort to put things out there that work well for us and I commend them on all their work. I like the longevity of the CE2s cuz I can't just walk into the local gas station and pick up cartos. I just got my last order of fluxos and I still have 3 unopened ones from my previous order of 10 that I got 2 months ago and 6 of the seven I'm using still work. The only one that doesn't work is one that I screwed up the wick on. Now I use that one for sizing my tanks to ensure proper fit.

I will probably order some Vortex to see for myself how they work, see if the can be modded or adapted to a tank...I just can't seem to leave things alone.

Looking forward to your video, badkolo. Also, looking forward to getting the Vortex order I submitted earlier today :)

Now about your new avatar - that guy isn't trying to vape through his nose, is he? :D

will the vortexs be okay to use if we decide to remove the ALF? also, how would you go about removing the ALF without disassembling the vortex? also, are the vortexs glued onto the base just like the steel ce2s? ALSO...could you clean out the vortex just by rinsing out the juice chamber and power flushing with a syringe with water thru the battery end to clean the wick? then just carefully dry burn.

I was thinking about this, and I *think* it would work. I don't use very dark juices, and mostly PG so it shouldn't be really gunked up to begin with. The plastic better be able to take a little heat or it won't work anyway...
