I typically dont post on forums, but I just wanted to help some fellow vapers save some money.

My Evic fell over very lightly on my coffee table and the head unit cracked. it no longer works and its 60$ to 100$ to replace just the head.

i was enjoying the unit, but a minor fall over should not come close to breaking anything.

Do not buy this flimsy junk unless you are wiling to bubble wrap it.

Mine too Judge.....and she has battle scars to prove it......but has yet to give me any issues.

Rolled right off a 4-foot file cabinet on to a tile floor, thought it was done for. Tip broke, cartomizer needed to be changed, but the evic held up just fine.

Did you purchase one of the Joyetech-branded eVics or a rebranded one like from Ovale?

I have the Joyetech one......one of my Ego-C's crapped out and could not pass up a $79.00 deal on the Evic.

But I'm happy with it. I don't use the gimmicky stuff too much, but it sure is nice to change the VV/VW on the fly when my cartos are acting funny. Sometimes my cartos have a mind of their own from puff-to-puff, so it's nice to be able to shift-on-the-fly, if you will.

Sorry to hear your EVic isn't working any longer. :( There are lots of different reasons why our APV's stop working. Even those considered by many to be well made can stop working correctly long before "we" think they should :(

That's the reason I do pay attention to what warranty a vendor is giving before I choose to make any vaping purchase. The three times I have purchased a less then $60 APV without a minumum 3 month warranty I knew going in that if anything went wrong before my preferred 3 month minimum it was going to be my loss and I accepted that choice. We all have to make our own decisions, but for me, I won't purchase any APV that cost over $75 without a minimum 6 month warranty. The longer the warranty the better. It's worth it to me to own APV's that have lifetime warranties. :)

iv dropped mine as well and the only thing it did was shut off not sure if it jared something or if its a saftey thing. 5 clicks and its back on working just fine. But like others stated my cell sits in an otterbox for this exact reason it is electronic and needs something to absorb the shock from a drop. Well ottobox hasnt released a cover yet for the evic so baby it :) .

I've dropped my eVic too. Still works fine. Now my Lambo has taken a punishment and that sucker is a champ. However, my eGo twist sat in a big bowl of water in the sink all night and now doesn't work. I'm not CPR certified for the twist so I had to put her down.
:(

Was actually going to update my avatar with all 3 of them today too.

Talk to your vendor or Joyetech and maybe they'll replace for you free of charge. I suspect a defect exists since mine's fallen over dozens of times on tabletops and not even a scratch.
