Imeo needs to establish and incorporate counter counterfeit practices that customers can identify easily with confidence.
Is there a way you could mark the pieces with an emblem or some other way that people could see a piece is by you, similar to the way silverware is marked and you know its legit?any ideas poppa?

What always impresses me about your parts and pieces is the way they always fit together so well. For example: I purchased the brass bottom, top, and telescope all of it brass. I mounted my brass stealth cap (1st run) on the top and brass end cap (#143 ss came with brass caps) on the bottom. I installed a new axis plastic and new brass post and fuse, along with a new brass button. All these new and old parts went together perfectly, with out a hitch. All the brass has the same hue, all the joints sit flush, no variations in the tubing, threads, all of it right on. You would never know its made of pieces produced years apart from the other parts. Thats a testament to the standards you have set and continue to produce, its truly impressive, and very well done.
Imeo, the ideas that I have are not new ideas. Pedro made the Caravela easy to identify with his unique style of lining his markings up when assembled. I think you should look at something similar that would make counterfeiting GG's a lot harder, and easier for people to determine whats legit GG.
Nautilus......Controversial!
Almost a year ago now i reviewed a fantastic repairable atomiser called the Odysseus which is manufactured by "Imeo" who is the creator of the GG range of products. Since its release it has consistently gained in popularity and has become a very sought after item. However, that is where the biggest issue with the Odysseus becomes apparent.....lack of availability
For whatever reason, the manufacturer only seems to produce them on the rarest of occasions and even then the numbers produced are simply not enough to feed the demand. Inevitably they sell out within minutes of becoming "in stock" and this usually leaves many, many people feeling somewhat frustrated and left with the only choice of scouring the forums for a secondhand Odysseus which are usually being sold at highly inflated prices
So in steps the Nautilus.....to put it mildly, a pretty blatant Odysseus rip off
But i was keen to purchase a Nautilus as i was interested in comparing the build quality and performance against the original and to be fair it i cant really fault it. The machine quality is excellent, it vapes like a train and the stainless steel brushed finish looks fantastic and matches up beautifully with my Dingo (as shown in the above image)
Do i agree with the blatant copying of other peoples work? Absolutely not, especially as i am a big fan of the GG products
However, i do feel that if the manufacturer wont meet the demand of his customers then those customers will want the next best thing and there will always be another outlet that will be pleased to take advantage of the situation. The Nautilus is at least a very, very good quality copy and anyone seeking an alternative to the forever "out of stock" Odysseus will no doubt be very pleased with their purchase
Cheers,
Scott
Have you seen this??? I'm really surprised with this coming from him... he is saying that Nautilus is blatant copy of Ody and that he absolutely does not agree with copying... but at the same time, on one level he is approving copying because of limited production of Ody... so as I see this, he is giving copiers thumb up, no matter what he is saying about not agreeing with copying.

We DO all agree, that this still is a better alternative than getting frustrated with faulty vaping gear and getting back to smoking?
Is it now?
If the first thing you buy does not satisfy, chances are that you get back to old (bad) habits.
If you Do disagree, it would be nicer to hear why instead.
just saw the polished oddy clone now !!! it almost got me fooled ...seems they are not gonna stop eee
