9/6 - 4: Trying something new, I keep fats from older cooking for new cooking. Doing broiled skinless, boneless chicken in pork chop grease. Smells wonderful so far.

Get folks to help out! Meanwhile, maybe a soak in a tub with epsom salt would help. I hopeyou feel better soon. Good vibes being sent.
Have a great day, everyone!

I told them when they moved in with me that I wasn't changing my lifestyle for them. That if I was available and they needed help I would do it if I felt up to it. Well I'm not available tomorrow and I'll be darned if I'm going to let them guilt me into it...I work hard too and deserve my time to myself...like my bf's mom said, I'm not the one that got her pregnant!

) Sat for an hour and then moved wood from the "back 40" closer to the firepit. This chica is WORN OUT.

9/6 - 5: My mother who has passed went to Alabama, so the Tide is a part of my heart and favorite college team.9/6

Angel! (Or is it just the kids?) In any case, do what YOU want to do--if you're willing to babysit then fine, otherwise there should be no expectations unless it's an emergency.

Will do my mother went through cancer four times, she fought a good fight until all of us children were out of the house. Prayers to your friends, please be more specific, it helps in prayer.9/6/15 #6
Just want to ask my TreeFam for prayers for some friends of mine. Year or so ago, my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. She also tested positive for BRCA. Double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery - she's doing pretty well these days. However, her husband was just diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. They're awaiting some additional test results and potentially six months of chemo treatments. They have two high school-aged children (who really shouldn't have to go through this *AGAIN*....) My friend's mother is my neighbor, and *SHE* is having some neck surgery on Tuesday.
I believe in the power of prayer - any of you who also do, please join me and lift up my friends.... Thanks

Speaking of emergencies, time for me to think about getting ready to go surfing for the first time in far too long. I even had to hose down my wetsuit to make sure all of the creepy crawlies were out...![]()

@tiggerrts - Thank you sweetheart. I'm sorry that your Mom had to suffer as she did. Never seems fair, does it?
Jodi (breast cancer), Andrew (leukemia), Emily and Jacob (the kids - for strength to get through this current phase of their parents' health issues,) and Julia (Mom - neck surgery) I just pray God's peace and healing touch on them all....
I lost my uncle to lung cancer a couple of years ago. It's an evil, evil beast. My cousin (his daughter) had leukemia as a child. She has survived, but her body was torn up by the chemo and radiation.

...As for the babysitting, it just irritated me that they thought it was appropriate to call me and expect me to come home when there are 2 other sets of grandparents there that they could ask, but did they even think of that?! NOOOOOOOOOOO! ...Have fun surfing, but keep an eye out for those hammerheads!
