say Shmoo what are you using for the tubes? Please do tell as many of my ideas haven't paned out thanks

I'm kinda waiting in the wings with Baited Breath myself.

Has the B-D 3ml Syringe Tube, ie: Lord of the mods, meet it's match?

Do tell wouldn't you.

i have just one and I am ordering more from amazon to play with. Its not exactly perfect but usable. Cut the tip end off as close to the tip as possible as its slightly smaller there. Use this end as the base so it fits tighter - I usually super glue mine cuz im clumsy and drop stuff ect. But use just enough to get all the way around and don't get it on the gasket. Only on the ribbed part some will squeeze out just wipe it off quickly with a paper towel. The cup or filler seal whatever ya call it doesn't quite seal to the side of the tube like it should. I have heard of ppl who used a metal ce2 with a bd syringe claimed it sealed good so maybe the metal ones have a larger seal in them. I haven't got any metal ones yet so I don't know. Since it dossent seal so good I used 2 of the flat ring seals on top and then a drip tip. That worked pretty good for a while but I still got a little tiny seepage into mouthpiece so I took the black plunger seal from the syringe and used a hole punch to remove the center. Then I put this in place of the 2 ring seals and it seems to have mostly solved the problem. OH and it can stretch slightly over time where it goes on the base and can get slightly looser hence my use of the super glue. Today after about a week it came loose a little on me so I took a Ideal Instruments brand 3ml syringe and cut a 1/4 ring out of the middle. I was just able to work it over the connector end to help clamp it in place. It seems to have made it nice and solid but make sure it is slid even to the end of the bd tube so as to not get in the way of the air passages.
I just wonder if there is a different brand syringe might be just a little hair smaller?
Or perhaps the clear barrel of some particular ink pen or similar item?
Another thought is that US Plastics has a schedule 40 1/4 inch clear pvc pipe with an inside diameter of 0.344 my bases measure (across the ribbed part the holds the tube in place) 0.343 to 0.345 most being on the smaller side.

I wonder if anybody has tried it humm...
And indeed I am really curious what Shmoo has found

Good news is we got a backlog cleared on our March order (too long of a story to give you the details) and we are lookign at Mon-Wed of next week for a massive shipment of our broad selection we normally get to ship out. Along with that will be the popular OnTheTown mini kits everyone liked so well in both 510 and 808's...AND the MaXimizer giantomizers...improved and ready to go on the shelf.

Along with these we begged and cajoled and will have plenty of new replacement tubes also available. They were holding out on that as they have a shortage of raw material but we got it done.

We'll keep you updated and thanks to everyone for your patience on our FLüXomizer stock...

So Danno I take this to mean you're getting in some CE2-XL 2.6-2.8 oHm Clearomizers? How about more Lucids?

we have tons of lucids in stock and plenty of ce2 and new maximizers coming

Well I see that you have 20 units of Lucids in stock. Was also wanting to order some more CE2 XL's but didn't want you to go out of stock on Lucids before the CE2's arrived. I'll keep my eye on the Lucid stock the next few days.

Are you getting any more Vortex in stock? Are they an updated version? When you do get updated Vortexes in stock, will they be sold separately from the original Vortex? Looks like you still have 37 units in stock.

The Vortexes wont come in until after we test the nest revision and OK them so that could be a few more weeks.

On the Lucids...we don't carry the x-atomizer package on them anmore. But we still have plenty of tanks in stock and tanks with regular atomizers.

That's good to know. Really wanted to try the Lucids with the included x-atomizer. Not too sure about them on a standard atty? Seems like the tank by itself is too close in design to your other systems. Maybe, maybe not?

Is there a valid reason to try the Lucids by themselves without the x-atty? Seems like if the x-atty is not being offered there was something about it that wasn't received well enough to continue stocking it?

I don't mind buying something "new" to try if it's different enough from the other product offerings.

Can Danno or Bad speak to this?

PS:
Wish I had caught that the x-atty was replaced with a standard atty. Just ordered some new stuff to try and it will arrive today. Had wanted to try Lucids but saw that the Lucid with atty was out of stock. Did see that the empty tanks were in stock.

the x atty was the new 510T atty, same thing, it is ok but many have wicking issues, even with the new 510T version of the same atomizer.

We might get some new updated Xatomizers(510T version 2) atomizers in a few weeks along with the new EGO-T version 2.
you can use the lucid on regular 901,510 and 306 atomizers or the x type(510T)

Hey! I found a clear rigid tube used somehow in aqariums or aquatic setups, from Petmountain, online here - Lees Rigid Plastic Tubing Plumbing Parts
inexspensive, very sturdy, clear, 3/8 36inch tube. Quick shipping. And cheap aquaruim plants & products otherwise!
The interior diameter is a bit smaller, hence the thickness. It doesn't slide all the way down the base/battery, but instead stops at the rubber at the top of the base of fluxomizer. It's sturdy enough sitting on a desk, or a quick jaunt to the store, but I probably wouldn't put it in my pocket or something like that. So it holds just a little less juice. It's not perfect, just different!
It seems a bit tighter around the wick as well, & I wonder if that's stessing out the already fragile wick area there.
But it is definitely thicker, & so far no cracking with different flavors, but no citrus flavors tested.
I was excited to find these & happy to share about it :)

These tubes were less than $3- easy to cut to size with a little hobby size hacksaw. They fit snugly, feel sturdy. I'd like to figure out how to get them a little further down on the base, I'd feel better about it... I did carve a bit from the inside of one end of one, and that did go a little further down, but must have been uneven somewhere as I got a very little bit of leaking -hairline crack little. I'm sure it can be improved!!
& I got a ghost house for my black ghost knife fish, Stevie :) so it made for a good day!

can you soak the end in boiling hot water long enough to soften it up and then slide it over the base?

Any luck finding this size at your local pet store Harmonic? I didn't even think about looking locally honestly when I saw the prices on these. I also have an aquarium & the only local pet store here is Petsmart. When they opened they drove out the 2 smaller locally owned pet shops operating at the time. So I went to buy a ghost house for my blind ghost knife as I bought the fish at this Petsmart, but they don't sell his home. Ghost knives are nocturnal & very shy, but also blind, so if you have this certain clear tube they will likely adopt it as their cave & feel hidden & safe, although in reality, anyone with a good pair of eyes can plainly see them :) it's sneaky. But this dumb Petsmart doesnt sell the ghost knive tubes, & couldn't even consider ordering it when I asked a saleperson about it, so it was great to also pick up this house for my fish online! Though as far as I can see, he's not using it yet. Also, the plants sold on this online shop are quite a bit less expensive than our 'local' Petsmart! Score all the way around!
Back on track- focusing on the Tube!
That's a great idea about soaking them Repent! I will try it!
I'm using this tube, the tube is working & not leaking, I just wish it fit so it didn't look as if it could fall apart any second, which it hasn't yet!
I have to be a little more patient putting in juice as air bubbles are a nuisance more so with this tube, but if I'm patient & fill with a pipette near a wick, I can keep air bubbles from forming...
Thanks Rosco :) it's fun, the distraction of fiddling was part of what helped me quit smoking too!
