Well, the atty quit working. I tried to pull the pin but shredded the thing. Fare thee well, Turbine. Back to Mega Smartcarts for me. Gogo looks promising.

Well now that just sucks. Mine is still working it does appear to be getting looser on the seating but it still hits like a heavyweight boxer in a title fight. How are those Mega Smart Carts anyways? Are tey pretty reliable and easy to use?

The carts are ok. Decent (sufficient) vapor, best flavor I've had, decent throat hit. I have removed about half the filler.

My only complaints are the smaller capacity and the poor feed. They taste so good that you want to take another drag, but if you go too fast they will give you a burned filler flavor.

Someday someone is going to get this PV thing dialed in perfectly.

I want a pump that notices when the atty is drying out then feeds more juice. Maybe a temperature sensor or something.

Okay, cool, thank you. I am really hoping that someday they will come out with something that not only has truly high capacity,(because we already have that), but also extremely high reliability as well. I love the look of the Giantomizer but I have heard some really horrible reviews on it.

Okay, I have discovered the perfect Menthol Vape for the Turbine!

Get an Ego 510 Extender and put it on a Provari, attach the Turbine to the Provari and set it to 4.0 Volts and enjoy!!!

Note: My Turbine Measured in at 1.8ohms so 4.0 Volts is the perfect sweet spot for me and my Face Freezing Peppermint.

I just loaded my first Turbine with Flux Crystal and been puffin' on it for a couple of hours...first on an eGo battery, and now on a Darwin at 3.7v [lowest setting it'll do for this atty] (requires a couple of extensions to get it to fit on a Darwin...I have 510>510 : 510>901 : 901>510 stacked...and the arm can close to a tight fit with it setup like this).

Wow...this Turbine is so much better than eGo T to me and I haven't even broken it in yet!!! I didn't like eGo T at all, but this thing makes me seriously re-evaluate the center-wick tank design concept.

Easy to fill, easy draw for a full lung hit, nice and warm vape, good amount of vape, and some decent throat hit. Will chime in more on flavor once it's had a fair chance to break in and I get to know this juice on some different atties. It definitely taste pretty good already tho' :)

The Turbine's is now one of my top 3 (No 2 actually after the Mega Smartcart 2.0). Unfortunately I had one blow the coil for some reason. And I was so enjoying it. I pulled it apart and was surprised that considering how solid they are the wick (in the slot) is only a single thread doubled over.

That middle battery contact pin moved and weakened the coil contact by the looks of it. Maybe you could get them to beef that up while they are making those improvements.

I'll have to get another one to keep me going until the new crop arrives. They really are that good.

This just gets weirder. I filled the Turbine last night to approx 70%, vaped on it and had it on my nightstand laying flat all night: no leaks. Vaped this morning on the way to work: no leaks. Vaped at my desk: no leaks. Sat it flat on the top of my keyboard, picked it up: there was a puddle. Stepped out for a "smoke break" and got juice in my mouth and juice trickling down the battery while puddling at the seam between the mouthpiece and atty.. Came back to my desk and opened it up to clean it: juice everywhere and the tank was empty.

When the Turbine works, it works. When it leaks, it leaks.

There appears to be no middle ground and no warning.

I just got mine and tried it out today...I was using mad grape juice 16mg, I only filled the tank about 1/4 of the way since it was a new flavor. Started out really harsh, and after about an hour I noticed some fluid on the outside of my battery, I figured it was just on my fingers from filling or something. Wiped it down and had it standing vertically all day. It worked great and the harshness wore off after a while, but I never did get a lot of vapor from it. Tonight I just went to take a puff and there was fluid all over my battery. I unscrewed the atty and the battery compartment had fluid all over (not full but all over the bottom of the atty and top of the battery). What a waste of fluid and I hope it didn't damage my 900mah batts. I emailed gotvapes about it, we'll see what they say. I ordered two of these things plus extra tanks, now I'm scared to use the other one. Think I'll just go back to dripping after this problem.

I might be of some help on that one .... it is always best to keep all TANKS as full as possible, they work on a vaccume (sp?) liquid pressure type action ..sorry if that does not make sense ...but so when they get low they have a tendency to "dump" the remaining liquid . The liquid needs to stay higher than the top of the wick/needle , otherwise when you "pull/drag" on it it just sucks the liquid out w/the air bubble above it .......... sorry I don't know how else to explain it ......... Just always keep tanks full - quarter full.

If that's the case it's a piece of junk. But that still doesn't explain why it's leaking out the bottom of the atomizer into the battery, that's unacceptable. Maybe you're unclear on what's leaking, it's through the battery contact INSIDE the atomizer, that should never leak.

I skipped right over ego's in my vaping progression, just went straight into variable voltage mods. Thought I'd backtrack and make sure I try everything. So I picked up the elegante ego from gotvapes as well as a maximizers (the prototype/ leaky ones for $2 a pop... awesome), an ego t, and a turbine.

So with this turbine I filled 3/4 full as I see full is not recommended, and aligned the it so the plate holding the pin was horizontal when the mouthpiece is also. I assume that is correct. I primed with a few drops. Then took some drags while not firing. I expected there might be some primer to vape through but it seems like the taste of a dry/ burned hit and is acrid. (hurts my lungs.) There is some gurgling and it seems there is juice getting into the air passage. I have it sitting now to hopefully get juice to the coil. Am I doing anything wrong here? I am a CE2 man since rev 2 so i'm obviously willing to play around with these things. So far the maximizers that I got cheap because of problems are performing flawlessly. I really want the turbine to work and I see people have had luck after a few days of using them so I'll keep trying. Anyone have similar problem?

Only thing I can think to try is pull the tank and reseat it...see if it sorts itself out. Possibly look down in the atty and determine if the vertical wick is positioned so it actually drips onto the atomizer wick/coils as it should.

I got lucky with my only unit ordered so far in that it vaped so good right out of the box that I fell in love with it. The flavor was a little different in the Turbine than when vaped through other stuff...but I actually liked it best of all through the Turbine on this one (Flux Crystal from GotVapes).

My only dissappointment was that it died on me after only 3 tanks full...
At a lower price point, or a bit longer life-span....I'd get more of them to test out with other juices for sure...
Maybe it's a bit of a hit and miss with these?
When they're on....man are they on!
I miss it and wanna get more, but feel that more than a dollar per tank life-span is more than I can afford right now. So far...over $3 per tank life-span. I'll try some more when I have a little extra cash to play with on down the road, as I did like that first one enough to hope the next one works as good and lasts longer.

What happened? you can remove the central pin in these very easily and replace the wicking rope with one from say clearomizer, it uses a very small one

I think the coil itself actually died. It was on an eGo battery when it quit...I tried it on Darwin at the lowest setting as well (3.6v in this case). It just stopped working after a few drags from freshly filled tank number 4. Don't think it's a contact issue, as it worked for a few drags on tank 4 then poof......I still have it but haven't had time give it another try or take a really close look at it.

Just remove the center pin and youll see the coil, you can then dry burn it and see if it works
took me 2 minutes to remove it, very easy
