I received my koh gen do on Saturday & I have to say I love it! With the yarn, I would taste the cotton thru about the first half tank whenever I put a new wick in my kayfun, no matter how long I boiled it beforehand. With the koh, I just cut a piece, popped it in & started vaping.....no cotton taste what so ever! :)

Thanks Idaho, & everyone else, for recommending it....you all are awesome!! :D

I ordered mine from Amazon and it took a week to get here..watch it though it seems as the item is getting more popular the prices are increasing...I also paid $12 for 60 pads. I've got my Spheroids going with it and so far so good...I didn't notice any cotton taste either. I think this stuff is going to be very easy to work with...Thanks everyone

So I just met Amanda that used to be on the Vape Team, that was interesting. It's always odd when you meet people you've only seen on YouTube and podcasts etc.

I was also recognized by someone in the shop because of a tattoo I have which was pretty funny. Man I wish we had a vape shop near by.

Also, at the risk of sounding like a jerk / fanboy… I got to handle many high end mods and none of them are close to the PAPS which I already knew but now I have proof which is nice. Glad I got to see a Hades , I wanted one but the switch is garbage, don't need to save for that anymore. Same thing with many many other 'high end' mods.

I got mine from the Dermstore. It was a little over $12 shipped for 60 pads, so pretty good deal & it only took a few days to get here. Even got a free lip gloss too. ;)

Amazon wouldn't ship to me so I ordered mine from dermstore as well. I have no idea what my free gift will be but I don't have much use for lip gloss :p

Paps is gr8, Perseas & Team-GP is awesome ~ but there are other mods out there which are pretty nice as well. I'm sorry to post this here (which is "not done" in a modder's thread) but couldn't resist against a generic opinion like that.

Remember, every modder has put his heart & soul at his creation ~ some may work out nice - some might not ~ and in any case not all will accept it univocally - we all are different, aren't we? Bottomline is: (1)there are many good ones there, and (2)we should choose our words more diligently when opining against some.

I have one other "higher end" mechanical. I bought it in a moment of panic because my silver bullet started to fail. From the first time I used it I didn't like it, but it was in stock and the price was right. If I never used any different mods I don't think I would be able to fully appreciate the craftsmanship of the Paps.

You'll need to partially excuse me as I've been drinking all day.

I stand by my opinion though , they had two of them and both of the switches were super crunchy.

There are another half a dozen mods that I'm not mentioning. I just was really feeling like I wanted a Hades and after using it there is no way I can justify spending money on it.

So guys...

I got some organic cotton balls from CVS after hearing good things about them.

Well, they have a weird taste to them, so I'm going to try boiling them (I've never needed to boil my cotton balls before..).

My question is this:

Do I need to unroll them before I boil? How many times/how long do I need to boil them? Has anyone else had the 'weird taste' from CVS brand?

Thanks!
