I am not the handiest guy in the world so I will wait for reply from them before I mess anything up. I hope it's just user error which I hadly thig is the case but I would be happy about it lol
Ya one post has the insulator on the deck the other doesn't. It all looks right to me that's why I am about to pass out.
Ok. Does anyone have a v3 and can confirm that the 510 is adjustable? I seem to recall seeing a screw head.
1st thing I recommend is to take a long deep breath...Understandable that you are having a problem and you are frustrated but seriously? you have had a problem with this since you received it and didn't have a T15 to open it. On top of it, you keep bashing the price. I have a rule, if you don't want to spend the money don't...everything is listed with what is inclusive of the price prior to buying the item. There are tons of vids that show instruction. Everyone here WANTS to help. If you give people a chance to help you, they will and I am sure that they will get you up and running....but you have to let them help you. You are angry and it is not helping your situation. Please...take a step back and relax a min. You didn't waste your money.
Not all atties fit in all PVs the same. Put in on your provari (since it's protected). If it doesn't sense your atty it probably means the positive pin on your atty isn't contacting that on your pv.
If this is the case and you have the v3, you can unscrew the pin in the center of the 510 connection out a bit to adjust it.
So - one post (the neg) screws straight onto the deck. The other post (pos) has an insulator on top and under the deck too? You also have the circular insulator in place?

The V3 spheroid has a screw as the 510 connection. It's the flathead type. Mine sticks out ever so slightly.

On the inside the pole with the insulator has a screw inside that sticks out a lil. The other pole has nothing on the deck and sits flush with the deck as seen on the pic.
I just screwed it on my microstick and just look at it since it's pretty lol.
Didn't try to come across rude I am just upset with this thing that's all.

That all look right. But to clarify - the post with the nut on - does it have an insulator on the top AND on the bottom. It has to be completely isolated from the deck...

When I first got my v3, one of the post screws wasn't sitting down tight against the post, it took a bit of effort to screw it down tight enough to make contact with the coil lead, so check that too.
Yes the one pol with the insulator has one on the bottom (deck side) and on the top (inside look) and the screw is extra tied and doesn't move at all. All looks good and it sure looks super sexy on the microstick
