So, for some odd reason my hands were not so bad this evening. I got this "itch". Decided to do a youtube search for how to brush your own mods etc. Found a few on those that use Scotchbrite pads. Watched a few and got up my courage and dove in.
I was nervous at first but was shocked how easy and how good it looked. I like the Odysseus in a brushed finish..... I might do another one :)

Here is my first attempt, it not a exact match, but I feel pretty proud.

It was so easy..... I mean easy. I just put the tank parts together and put the Scotchbrite pad on a flat surface and rubbed the pieces back and forth, spun it, and did that all around and around. It does not sparkle like PAPS X finish, but looks nicer than the original mirror shine. I wish I knew the secret to that beautiful GP sparkle brushed finish.... Maybe someday I can grovel at the Greek Gods to make it so.....

The GP Paps Top Cap v3 has crossed air channels that are engraved and their grooves are only 1 mm width at their ends, ensuring a non obtrusive look. It was designed with very small and unobtrusive air channels so there would be no need to also build and release a flat top cap with no air channels for the GP Paps v3. Although people who use atomizers with independent airflow who don't need or want visible air channels can currently purchase the GP Paps Flat Top Cap version 2.5, it does not accommodate the innovative GPin (an autoadjustable double pogo pin with a silver plated spring that eliminated the need to adjust for atomizers and batteries) but instead comes with traditional telescoping pins.

Although some Paps v3 owners are understandably completely satisfied with the existing GP Paps Top Cap v3, there does seem to be some interest by others in a flat top cap with a GPin. Perseas has stated that if I can gather a wish list of 30-50 requests, that he will make a GP Paps Flat Top Cap v3.

If you are interested in and would definitely purchase a GP Paps Flat Top Cap v3 then please kindly confirm so in a post in this thread and submit an entry in the GP Paps Flat Top Cap v3 Google Form at the following link. I can only speculate on what Vapourart would sell it for, but the current GP Paps Top Cap v3 with air channels costs 34,00 €.

I never thought about media blasted items, will that brush off? I just got another "itch" I used the Scotch brites that have a sponge on the other side. I figured the extra cushion would be good around tighter angles.

Yeah I've seen plenty of people use the pads to brush a Russian or even mods. I just don't trust myself lol

Nothing wrong with it at all. P had a limited amount of Titanium. Hence, the limited number of TiXs. He mentioned cost prohibitive to bring Titanium in.
Of course, this was a few months ago he mentioned this, but I would guess the same applies.

I'm just waiting for a  from him. :)
