I sure didn't like any of his that I tried. Still have a couple of 90's about 3/4's full bought a year ago and still have them mainly becuse they didn't turn coal black and get tossed out months ago like the others did. But a gal pal bought something like 35-40 90ml bottles from him last summer because she and her boyfriend liked them so much. Hmmm... you're on the PO, they're on the coast of it, so maybe the salt air makes them taste better. ;)

I've found that the Yaeliq fruit flavors are what does it for me. They are tasty but vape very clean with almost no gunk. They also do not change color unlike a lot of the desserts I've tried (especially because room temp, here, is quite warm).

I pretty much only order orange and green apple my advs these days. I got tired experimenting with the flavors as they take a long time get here and most only come large bottles. add to that that the ordering system has changed and I'm now back square one for trial error.

This is why I'm once again out looking for suitable liquids. Since I generally vape single, or very simple, flavors for advs, diy is looking like good option. [emoji3]

Iowagal, congrats on your new grandbaby!

Cucco, hope your US results are just fine!

Idaho, your property is beautiful and I am jealous!

Yankee, glad you've recovered from the insect invasion :)

Cliffy, stay safe!

Perseas and all of the GP team, I hope you're all enjoying your time off - you have certainly earned it!

Has anyone tried the Lemon Vanilla Cake from Ahlusion? BTW I really love the Lemon Ginger Iced Tea, thanks for the recommendation Idaho! I love all things lemon, so thinking the Lemon Vanilla Cake would be good. But, I'm not exactly crazy about vanilla, cake or creamy flavors. Unfortunately it's not available as a sample but I think I'll grab a 10mL bottle and check it out.

Have a great day everyone!

I have not, but I REALLY am liking Ahlusion's juices! I think maybe it was Idaho, but I went to them on a recommendation from some folks here and they have some really yummy flavors! I haven't tried the Lemon Vanilla Cake, but I do have Strawberry Vanilla Cake and it's very tasty! I also got Mango Lassi as well as Smooth Criminal. Smooth Criminal is VERY good, an ADV tobacco flavor IMO.....

I will definitely be ordering from them again! :)

Okay ... for better or worse I just bought a chunk of DIY supplies. Flavorings, containers, and PG/VG/Nic.

I just realized that I can get USP PG/VG locally without having to pay for liquid shipping. Darn it. Oh well. Too late.

I decided to start with a middle-of-the-road approach which, for me, means don't start off too big but big enough to have a bit of single-flavored juices made up as stock while ordering more stuff. Everything totaled out to (including shipping) the price equivalent of 120ml of premium eliquid. Whereas I should be able to mix up about 600ml of DIY liquid.

We'll see how that goes!

Yep, that was ID... I ordered from them on his suggestion as well, and have been impressed. I mainly wanted to try their tobaccos but picked up some different stuff as well -- flavors I wouldn't usually try like Black Peach Tea, which surprisingly I loved.

I hear that gal pal. I get by with a tiny place to live in now too. With the health issues it's more than enough to take care of. So long gone are the huge homes, or even normal homes, I live in what I call a bungalow. That's my live in space... the remaining "stuff" has to be in storage. But I've managed to scale the storage way down too by throwing truckloads of stuff away every time I moved from house to house the last 20+ years, the divorce 12 years ago way more than half went elsewhere, and in the years since lots more so that when I'm gone nobody will have to deal with it. Going down from a large ranch house with huge garages and a shop to a bungalow 5+ years ago meant a huge cutback. Since then I also went down from 2 large storage garages to just one, and it also has my Corvette in it. Note: I am not a hoarder, I just bought way too many collections, etc all my life to use and as investments (then tossed most of them out instead of selling them). Come to think of it, I still buy too much stuff, but now it's mostly limited to vaping "stuff". ;)

When I moved here to Florida, over two years ago, I seriously downsized. I got rid of so much stuff! I was so proud of me! What I kept, I packed into two car trailers. One, had my 'personal' stuff. The other had my 'garage' stuff(Motorcycle, 4-wheeler, generators, air compressors, tools, etc.). Since I have not yet found my true 'home', almost everything I own is still packed in those trailers. I never thought it would take me so long to figure out where 'home' is. Starting to think, I will never figure it out. Not really sure why. This is nuts.... :(

But, it's all good! :)

I started ordering from them because so many ppl here on this thread were talking them up. Is the Strawberry Vanilla Cake creamy? I do like their Sweet Strawberry quite a bit but it gets a bit sweet after a while.

I love both the Lemon Crème and Lemon Vanilla Cake...

Well I tried the Lemon and Lime Creme and liked them both quite a bit, but didn't absolutely loooove them. My fave is the Pearadise Dream (I'm a fan of the fruit flavors) but I think the Lemon Ginger Ice Tea might be a new fave for me.

I love them too...along with soooo many others from them! ;) Your new grandaughter is beautiful my friend!!

Thanks girl. I owe props long ago to Tyleris and some to Mrs Iowa.
 to all 3 of you.

I have been ordering the creams worth an extra shot of cream these days

Oh man T,

Well I should confess when it comes to Ahlusion I'm a Cream gal....Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Lime etc. etc. etc.
Hi

JP! Hey buddy! You too KS!

So, been talking with Wlad the last couple days about his own Vanilla Custard version. I honestly love Wlad and Ally and am loyal to Ahlusion and Grant. I know Wlad won't try to compete with Grant but, he may try to come up with a nice custard to add to his flavor town.
Imo it's not possible to compete with Grant and his beloved elixir.

I've been strictly on DIY for 6-7 months. I started because shipping costs were out of hand, the local B&M stopped carrying what I liked, and with the diacetyl thing I wanted to control what was going into my juices. I never bought into "our juices contain NO DIACETYL" comments from the venders. I mainly stick to a certain few recipes but am bummed as I love most of the flavors that normally contain diacetyl or it's substitutes. I really need to look into infusing my own vanilla flavors. I seem to recall that Jojo was doing that at some point.

It was a BIG expense starting up with it but there is a lot of self-satisfaction in the whole process. It was kinda like when I was home brewing beer. I must have brewed 85-90 cases during that time and I loved it. But man does that stuff out on the weight!

I had to flag the "BIG" part of your last comments as it was the same for me. If you folks haven't figured it out yet, I don't do things unless I do them all the way. So I started by doing countless hours of research into DIY, as in day and night after day and night for a couple of weeks. Then I started ordering everything needed to set up a mixology lab in my place to do it. The product of someone who took one too many chemistry classes in high school and college and was now the Mad Chemist. The lab is still in place, a solid maple desk w/solid surface top I made long ago for something else that is dedicated to DIY, with it, a shelving unit and my refridgerator stocked with way too much of everything. Way too much for various reasons... I over bought some things (like flavors) that have still never been used; bought things I later replaced with something better (like bottles, changed to glass only but still have lots of LDPE as well), bought tools I seldom or never used (like a nic test kit, some of the lab glass), but especially one that is the downfall of all of it... I burned myself out on DIY by making far too many batches of test liquids about 3 dozen 5ml at a time for a few months when almost any of them were doable eventually and lots of them were easy ADV's. It can take me hours to make up 36 5ml test bottles to specific recipes with the breaks my bod forces me to take sitting at the lab or computer desks, and alot of time doing the steps of aging them the old way. IOW, I forgot KISS. Adding the UC was something I should have done from day one instead of about 4 months into DIY. It negates the need to make so many test bottles all at once (that I did because of the long waits while aging them). Took hours doing the record keeping too. Then one day when I had over 100 5ml test bottles to tend to, shake and breathe, make notes on, etc I said enough. The burn-out turned my attention to upgrading mods/toppers instead and trying out endless premades to vape in them along with the ADV's I had made in larger quantities. I was still doing that until I got my GP family recently. So I haven't done any DIY for months and all my DIY ADV's have been used up. Since most of the premades I've bought are from no's to no freaking way vapes for me I really should get back into DIY... at least mix up a few of my proven ADV's - run them through the UC on a regular basis.

With all this talk about juices and daily consumption.. Has anyone tried vaping unflavored nic bases?
About 90% of the time I vape only my flavorless base. I'm getting tired rather quickly from flavors (well, not me, but my tongue - vaper's tongue) and after about 30-45min I don't taste the flavor of my liquid. I tried unflavored base.. First it was a little bit strange, but after 30-45min it's all the same for me :D
Now and then I vape juices with flavor (strawberry, TPA's M-type, cinnamon cookies, different fruit flavors, etc.) just to surprise myself, but after a few ml's I go back to unflavored base, since it's all the same to me :/

Oh, now I'm between 7-9ml's a day. If I'm busy then it's around 5ml a day and if I'm extremely bored and doing nothing (relaxing on weekends) it can jump up to 13ml.

We have contemplated moving to it full time at some point. It has been a work in progress. In 1954 a very wealthy individual set a few train cars and a Caboose by helicopter into the Sawtooth Mountain Range and D and I were lucky enough to know the family and acquire them. He was eccentric to say the least.
If you have ever read "Into the Wild" it is much the same idea for me, just getting away. Last year we did a good amount of work on our solar system and am close to completing the project. We have a beautiful creek that runs through but a big goal of mine is to pipe a well deep enough so as not to have to worry about micro organisms. Many think snow cap runoff is safe to drink but in fact can be very dangerous. Stupid mistakes will kill a guy in the wild(Into the Wild).
D and I should be there now already but, are far behind and are dealing with quite a bit right now that is delaying our summer escape from peoples :). It isnt an easy place to get to. And if you find it and didnt mean too, I guarantee your lost.

Heres a few pics. The pictures can not replace the peace.

I actually hauled in 100 bags of concrete to build a septic tank under it to protect the water table.

I may of built an eagles nest to keep an eye on things . This is right out our back door, seems to trap the brook trout nicely.

Beautiful! I did a little reading about Buckskin Bill and I'll be picking up that book. It'll be a good read on one of our trips this fall.

I know a bit about that.

I have spent the last few years working on that problem. My aim, was to simplify. I have come a long way. It isn't easy to teach old cats new tricks, but..... :)
