Gripper Update?

I wonder if anyone who has complained in this thread was equally upset when vendors were selling "Marlboro", "Camel" and "Newport" flavored eliquid... Now that vendors have changed the names to things like "Maxboro","Kamel" and "Oldport" everyone is happy, right??

The difference here is that MV hasn't taken anyone's name. "The Grip" does not equal "The Gripper".

So far as it being the "same design", design similarities are an inevitability in this industry. There's only so many different ways that you can put a switch, battery and atty connector together.

I've seen Brads' mod before but never knew the name.. Our neighbor came up with the name based on the texture of the mod.. One thing that I don't have time to do is visit other vendors websites and look for ideas and names.. My head is swimming with ideas that I don't have time to implement

I did talk to Brad and understand his concern about the name being similar and although similar and the same are two different things, I'm not out to rain on anyones parade so we're going to think of and alternate name.. The first name that came to mind was 'the handjob' but it seemed a bit inappropriate so we're still pondering..

I'm glad Hoogie is a nice guy. In this particular case, I think he's being too nice. The guy who makes the grip isn't the first person to use the word grip or a variation of it relating to something e-cig. As I pointed out earlier in the thread, there's a lanyard guy who has been using the name for over a year. There is also a double box mod that looks a lot like the army tank mod that has been called the gripp (two p's) that can be found on the other popular e-cig forum and has been being sold since August of last year. I think those who got upset about it need to do their homework or at least ask google some questions.

And, just a by the way, I never got a PM from leroytwohawks about any recessed carto design PV like I asked him for. I'll assume that's because no such thing exists. Two or three of the complainers should man up and apologize... but that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
