We miss you too!
Insomnia sucks. It sure can't be helping the heart issues.
Ummmm some wives are more indulgent and enable their husbands desire to have their own space....![]()

Papaw... Relieved you aren't driving. I don't know any truckers in real life, so when I drive by one I think of you. If I see an accident I say a little prayer that you're safe in your travels. We just had a bad one near my home. A jeep was driving the wrong way on the freeway and head on with a semi produce truck. Jeep driver died, semi up in flames but both in the truck survived. Hope the power stays on and mama is cooking all day![]()
good for you! Enjoy the time off.No Travels the rest of this week. Called the Boss Man, he said Monday morning. "It's not like we're delivering Hearts and Livers" is his standard answer in weather like this. And he will shut it down, completely, until the roads are safe again. As far as accidents go, I've done this long enough to not compare horror stories. Trust me, I've seen victims who never went to a Hospital.
And yes, Mamaw is fattening me up. Just finished Eggs, Bacon, and scratch biscuit Breakfast. Now I'm thinking I should swap out the batteries in all of my Mods, just in case....
I have a theory as to why nurses seem to always call the patients sweetie etc... if you address someone in such a manner they have a tendancy to be so... call them a sweetie they become a sweetie... call them an AH they become an AH...![]()
Ray, I just remembered the first sign of my gall bladder attacks. Do you get a pain in your back....near/under your shoulder blade? Mine would start there and I knew in a while I would have thatpain in the front, right where the rib cage comes together.
No. Usually starts as a twinge under my right rib, then develops quickly into a gripping/squeezing constant (not throbbing) in my bread basket. When palpated, the pain is centered upper right (my right) quadrant. Your description otherwise is accurate.![]()
It does sound like GB. That pain does not let up.....at all! It was the first time, and hopefully the last time, I ever had a rocking pain. The kind where all you can do is curl up and just rock.
Get that gallbladder yanked.
