Good Afternoon Army from Westminster SC. Being unloaded on what will probably be my last overnight run for a while. My friend Arthur(itis) does not like cold temperatures. And winter is moving in as I type. By the end of the week all of this unseasonably warm weather will be just a memory.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Not good at all @PapawBrett keep us posted on what you find out. We'll be praying and waiting to hear..

Carolina Bone and Joint set appt. for 10am, looking for Carpal Tunnel.
Looked it up on WebMD - three most common causes are disease (arthritis, diabetes, etc,), Repetitive motions (driving), and pregnancy.
I think I can go ahead and cross off the third one....

I don't know, at your age you might have some CRS disease going on, not sure wirh that being the case if we can actually cross off the third one from the list. .. hahahaha..

(Sorry, just had to make a joke!)

I hope the appointment went well... please keep us all informed! Definitely praying for you!

so I guess shifting and squonking is difficult now? ;)

Left hand, not my right. Holding the wheel and anything that requires both hands.
Now they are saying it's my neck. Out of work for two weeks (Mamaw is already threatening to leave) and scheduling an MRI.
I guess the doctor needs Christmas money....

Okay... hopefully if it is a pinched nerve (which the MRI will show the exact problem ) then a couple injections and some PT will fix you right up..

Enjoy your time off... :) try not to stress!

Best you get the MRI now and hope it's a pinched nerve and not arthritis .

I sure hope that's "all" it is, Pop. A prayer going out your way. retic can tell you all about the possible consequences of arthritis in the neck/spinal column. Speaking of which, how you doing retic?

So should we feel more sorry for Mamaw than you?

Seriously, that arthritis really has a way of getting in the way of things. I wonder if you're going to need that carpal tunnel surgery.

The doctor seems to think it's in my neck. I still think it's in my hand. It would not surprise me if the MRI turns out to be a waste of time and money.

I had some recent unpleasant pain and tingling (not severe) in my arm and into my hand. I applied ice to the back of my neck and upper spine. It brought down the inflammation and swelling there and no more pain tingling in my hand and arm. It wouldn’t be unheard of for neck issues to show up elsewhere. Sending up prayers for you - and Mamaw!

@76bridget - I think you are an angel. Taking in your “extra” was something many would not be willing to do.
