Good news on the house front. The buyers are waiving any repairs and taking it as is. Most important things have been repaired anyway. Yay! Now we just need the appraisal to come in at the sell price. It's the same as the appraisal we got in August, so all should be well. It's a govt loan like FHA, but a different acronym. They can be tougher. Fingers and toes and eyes crossed!

Turns out the husband would love to buy the mower but wifey says they can't afford it. I may drop the price a bit since most wifeys can't resist a good sale. They don't know yet what it's like to mow 3 acres. Truly, they can't afford not to buy it.

You'd be better off with the Birkenstocks then , I bought mine locally and the salesperson showed me the Dansko's as well but said they wouldn't work after measuring my feet , I take EE width 12 - 13's depending , , this is where I got mine , don't know if they ship internationally but you can look at the Dansko's as well .

Thanks Retic! I'll send that link to my daughter and hint Christmas is coming.

Positive vibes going out your way LA. Get 'er done!!! I got everything crossed too... :D

Chak, I wore flip flops my whole adult life, until last fall. I had to stop. My feet were killing me. Come to find out I have arthritis in my feet. If I am on my feet for a little while, I will pay for it later. So before your feet get worse, find other shoes. I loved my flip flops, and wore them almost year round. The only time I didn't wear them was in cold weather. (sometimes I'd still wear them then...lol) I have long and narrow feet. Most shoes that fit the length that you buy, are way too wide for me. I used to buy narrow shoes when I was young. But now you rarely see them. (if ever)
Thanks for the advice kk. Thai culture almost demands walking indoors barefoot. Everyone takes their shoes off at the door. almost 30 years here walking around barefoot is what wrecked my feet. Plus the standing while teaching for fifteen years with regular street shoes - I got the Navados in my last two years at school. They're still in great shape.

Seems now-days they only go for standard sizes in width. I always have a hard time finding shoes wide enough.

My flip flops are actually sandals and pretty comfy. I have to look through sandals at a couple of stores before I can find ones that will work. They have to have thick spongy soles with lots of cushion up front and good arch support. I have one pair for inside one for out and about. Then I have the Nevados for dressing up.

ProVape is proceeding with repairs on my old Provari P2. It needs a new board. I also get to choose the LED color I want (switching to blue from red) and I added a top cap replacement. I'm ditching that classic (but outdated) beveled top cap for a P3 cap. All for a measly $45. And that includes priority shipping. Can't beat that with a stick. Like the gal said, it's like getting a new Provari in the old tube (which is still pristine). Very happy! ProVape is a quality USA company...no doubt about that. You pay a lot up front but you can't beat the miles per gallon. :)
Great news Bronze, I need to send mine in sometime soon, prolly after New Years. It's been acting funky at times - button doesn't want to fire consistently. A good cleaning usually helps in that department, though. I agree, they can take a beating and keep on ticking. Mines over two years old now. and the body is in good shape save for the paint job. A few scratches here and there.

That's good news! But I'm guessing you wont believe it until all the i's are dotted and all the t's are crossed and the check clears. And yes, that mower is more important to that house than the third bedroom. Hope they don't find out the hard way.

They are very reasonable for repairs. Get the P3 top cap if you send it in. Much better design for today's atomizers. They charged me only $10 for the top cap. That's a giveaway. They charge $8 alone for the 510 insert when you order it on their website.

Hiya Army! Long time. Just an update. I'm about 190 pounds lighter...and I don't mean weight loss. LOL (winky wink) Life is real good. ;) And that my friends is my final answer. :)

We are so busy lately it's hard to get online here very much. With work and school, and then the gym at night, and family stuff, friend stuff, and dating (winky wink)....we are barely home. Here is a pic of our latest excursion...my son and I are the far right. My baby is a MAN now! He drives us everywhere...and my hair is a little whiter.

Our cat Amber is thoroughly annoying. Siamese cats are known for being very vocal but ours takes the freaking cake. She never shuts up. But she is ADORABLE and we love her!!! Our entire world is now focused on her and her needs and if she's OK and where is Amber and does she have food and whose time is it to clean the litter box. My son loves her so much!!

I'm maintaining my 81 pound weight loss and working out hard in the gym. My son is tough on me. I'm just glad he hangs with me in there. He's not ashamed of his Mom! IN THE GYM no less! We workout together and we LOVE it. I bench pressed my max weight of 105 pounds the other night, deadlift 100 pounds, and I'm up to eight pullups in the first set. :2cool: My body is yet again transforming and I'm coming around to my final destination with all that. I did cardio/running and I did a lot of things with Insanity...but weight lifting is what I was missing. And besides the men are HOT in there. Whew! We are killing it!!!

Y'all ready for Thanksgiving? I hope everyone is doing well.

You got it! We are excited in a reserved way. Just found out that govt appraisals can request repairs. After the brutal home inspections we've endured, it's hard to imagine what they could ask for, but you never know. I will breathe so much easier when this is all behind me. @Chakris and @Hulamoon - thanks for all the support and crossing of things with me. ;)

Korean culture does too, so that's the way it is in our place. You'll fit right in if you ever visit us here! Wear those Nevados to head for Nevada. :)

I've always preferred to be barefoot, and it works well for my type of foot issues. My daily shoes are Vivo Barefoots. Picked them up a couple of years ago, and my feet no longer hurt when I'm out walking for any length of time. One benefit of past pain - it was the perfect excuse for *not* going to the mall. ;)
