I've worn these and loved them. Over the years you find what works best and for my feet the Dansko's work best, but they are not suitable for kickin' it around the house. I know Gary and I are on our feet more than the average human. Excluding my week on the bus of course
I have big , wide , feet , so the Birkenstocks were a better fit for me but I think the Dansko's look better for out and about in general .

I've worn Birkenstock sandals for years and they really helped my bad feet. Absolutely no way I could ever wear flip flops. My feet are narrow, so those shoes might not work for me. But spending more for good shoes when you have foot problems is a must. I think of it as a medical expense that I don't have to give to my podiatrist.

ProVape is proceeding with repairs on my old Provari P2. It needs a new board. I also get to choose the LED color I want (switching to blue from red) and I added a top cap replacement. I'm ditching that classic (but outdated) beveled top cap for a P3 cap. All for a measly $45. And that includes priority shipping. Can't beat that with a stick. Like the gal said, it's like getting a new Provari in the old tube (which is still pristine). Very happy! ProVape is a quality USA company...no doubt about that. You pay a lot up front but you can't beat the miles per gallon. :)

I unpacked and there was a sweet thank you note from Mom to me for making her dream of seeing Branson come true. She tucked the note in my slipper. She's still not home and I don't know why. They should have been home 2 hours ago
Maybe another side trip? Hoping you hear from her soon! Glad you finally heard from her!

We were posting at the same time :)

That's my problem too, extra wide feet, not so long only a 10 ½ - 11 ½ depending on the brand/store. The last really comfortable pair I bought for work were/are by Nevados and I had to get a size 12 to get the width I needed. There are great for school or going out, but not go too well with shorts. o_O

Yup , they're backsavers as well , everything goes out of line without proper shoes , the professional Birkis come in women's as well , but they're not casual shoes . They're made for people that spend long hours on their feet like medical and restaurant personnel , they're strictly function over form .

You'd be better off with the Birkenstocks then , I bought mine locally and the salesperson showed me the Dansko's as well but said they wouldn't work after measuring my feet , I take EE width 12 - 13's depending , , this is where I got mine , don't know if they ship internationally but you can look at the Dansko's as well .

Chak, I wore flip flops my whole adult life, until last fall. I had to stop. My feet were killing me. Come to find out I have arthritis in my feet. If I am on my feet for a little while, I will pay for it later. So before your feet get worse, find other shoes. I loved my flip flops, and wore them almost year round. The only time I didn't wear them was in cold weather. (sometimes I'd still wear them then...lol) I have long and narrow feet. Most shoes that fit the length that you buy, are way too wide for me. I used to buy narrow shoes when I was young. But now you rarely see them. (if ever)
