It's out of stock. I got on the waiting list. 3FVape has them, but they seem shady..China company I think.
Adam had them too but he's been out of stock forever. Slow Tech probably has a clone glass. But then they take forever to ship stuff.

I live in an exciting town. We just had a police helicopter circling with a spotlight shining down. Maybe one block over. Went on for 20 minutes at least! The cats freaked out. We had the police scanner website on and kept checking Twitter, but no info about WTH was going on. Police scanners are great if you know their codes.

We heard what sounded like a call for backup and our street was mentioned. But that’s all.

Anyone know in what situation the helicopters are called? I’m thinking manhunts - whether on foot or in a vehicle. When we were in SoCal, they also were called in for the fires. Other than that, who knows? Now I’m all worn out! News in the morning may have info. Seems all is well now.

I think they use helicopters for people who are actively running from the police. But it might not have been as dangerous a situation as one might automatically think - some people will run from a routine traffic stop. Granted, it's usually because they are guilty of some crime but usually the cop doesn't know what crime that might be... lol.

Glad all is well now!

Back when I had no choice but propane it cost me $500 - 700 a month to heat this friggen place in the winter. My elderly neighbors who keep their house real toasty spent $900/month. Myself, along with a couple neighbors shagged down the natural gas company who happened to be laying new lines to a shopping center just outside our neighborhood and asked if they would lay lines in our neighborhood. After some canvassing they agreed and we got natural gas now. Now it costs $150 - $250/month. We all told the propane companies to :censored: themselves.

Well, those 25,000 sq. ft. mansions by the lakeside do tend to be expensive :p
1200 sq. ft. heated living space cost me $500 a year, max. On mild winters it was less. And that was before I got tired of the 'local' company jacking their prices/ fees. Switched over to Suburban Propane for an introductory price of 1.79 / gallon this fall. 250 gallons should last all this winter and well into next winter. Maybe two years worth...

My house is only 2600 SF. And propane was over $3 a gallon when I decided to switch. Enjoy the $1.79 introductory. Hope you asked what it will be when the teaser rate expires. I got tired of prices constantly rising. They never decreased. This went on for 9 years. I had enough. So did this entire neighborhood. We were all extremely happy to tell them to stick their propane up their :censored:. Then when they saw we were all converting they tried luring us back with cheap teaser rates. We said nope. Their tank is still in my ground (empty). They want to charge me $600 to remove it. Not a chance, Lance! I told them I wont charge them anything for coming on my property to remove it but to make sure whoever gets it is insured and brings me proof they are insured because I don't want to be sued.

All I've got is electric heat, no gas or propane. I just got to thinking that my mom hasn't had this latest cold snap on her bill. I won't tell her, she will freak out. I don't know if it will be on my bill that hasn't showed up yet. Next month there is a price increase. That ought to combine well for the latest cold snap, for the ELECTRIC company. Still some snow on the ground, should be gone today. Now we have a chance of rain, and it is cloudy. I was hoping for some sunshine, but warmer weather is a blessing. I will take that any old day of the week!

Good afternoon, Army. :)

Sunshine and moderating temps. Tomorrow will hopefully hit in the 70's. *crossing fingers*

Colonoscopy scheduled for Tuesday... joy

I am not worried. I really don't think anything will be found. I'm using Suprep as the preparation. It looks like it will be much easier to handle than that gallon of .... vomit inducing crap of past colonoscopy preps.

Hey! We had a similar situation today when I went in for a meeting at work. Roads were closed and blocked with police, helicopter circling, Hospital was on lock down, eventually they got the dogs and found the person they were looking for in the orange groves adjacent to the hospital (it’s our land but we aren’t using it right now). I guess he was an armed burgulat or something. I was just grateful to finally be able to leave the building!

I think helicopters are mostly for manhunts

My house has solar panels. I haven’t paid more than $40/month for electricity since I moved in. Right now I’m running off a $600 credit of energy buy back. I will have solar in any and all houses I live in from here on out. Especially in Phoenix.

Best bang for your buck is air sealer my attic and crawl space look around outside after it snows if you see houses with no snow on roof that is usually a good sign all there heat is going straight up thru roof.
