Good morning, army:) Been going though lots of tests and dr appointments with hubs. We finally have a diagnosis. It's not a good one but still better to finally know. Hubs has a rare liver cancer, sometimes called bile duct cancer,Katskin tumor or Perihilar cholangiocarcinoma. Feb 6th he will have a biopsy and a stent put in his bile duct where the cancer is closing it. Then we'll move on to Chemo. It's not operable or curable so we're hoping for remission.

Still enjoying Legend and if I come up with 2 pennies to rub tomorrow I'll get some more.

We're doing ok. Hubs would be happy just to ease the pain some right about now.

Just wanted to let you know I didn't fall off the face of the earth.

Nice to see you back but bad news. Clearly they have to get his pain under control. Nothing else would seem to matter until then. Let's hope they get that under control and then they can address the cancer. I'm sorry to hear this news. How long has he been this way?

Good Morning Army. Finally starting to dry out a little around here. Still looking forward to spring. Called the Workman's Comp Adjuster this morning, told her we are not making progress through PT and maybe we should look into some of the Doctor's Suggestions - Nerve test on the left arm and possibly injections into the neck area (V4 and V5).
Other than that, watching old movies on Kodi (?). Watched director's cut of Suicide Squad last night. The theatre version left out a lot of character development in favor of Action/ FX scenes.
Fran, thoughts and prayers. Watching a spouse battle cancer can be nerve-racking. Hopefully this too shall pass...

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

It's a large mass growing around the joint of the bile ducts along with a couple blood vessels and a nerve. It's pinching the nerve which is causing all the pain.

FranC I am so sorry to hear your husband has cancer. I have never heard of it in your bile duct before. I guess it can grow anywhere. I am glad he has someone who can help him, and be there for him. It seems cancer is more frequent these days than it used to be. I said a prayer for the both of you.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re facing this and for your husband’s pain. You’ve both been through a lot. Wow. I’m adding you to my prayers. I was wondering where you were. I’m glad to see you back.
