No chemo today?

Next Thursday.

@Robino1 sorryto hear about your fingers! My friend who has/had stage 4 ovarian Ca has the same issues with her chemo. Mostly her fingertips they just hurt her! Seems to ease up and resolve over time.

Glad your scope looked good!

I've learned that side effects, not neuropathy related, do ease up on the off week. The cracking and peeling of the skin on my hands, and swelling of them, are what is causing this pain. Need to keep them moisturized but not greasy. My regular lotion stings so went with the Udderly Smooth.

At least with the oxaliplatin stopped, my eyelashes are growing back. :laugh:

Rob, so what do you and the docs want to see in order to stop chemo treatments? What measures?

Remission. Probably CEA level to normal range and no sign of cancer on the CT scan.

I'm guessing. I will ask more questions when I see her next. Won't be this next week. The following scheduled after.

Writing this down. Thanks :) :wub:

Hubs is on his way to the hospital via ambulance and I'm finding it difficult to imagine any happy outcome.

Oh my word!!!! Prayers going out to you!!!!! {{{{{{{ Fran and hubby}}}}}}}

    Hubs has chronic acute pancreatitis.They are admitting him. He told the doctor that did the liver procedure to stay away from his pancreas. Well,I guess he didn't cause the pain is being cause by his pancreas being irritated.So he's dehydrated. Could hve been much worse. They were looking to see if the cancer had spread.

    Well no wonder he's in agony. At least they got a quick diagnosis and he's in the right place. Stay positive Fran. He needs it.

    I used a Vitamin E cocoa butter lotion and then wore cotton gloves to keep moist, worked for me... when I get super stressed, I get little blister like bumps in the palms and top sides of my hands/fingers, they dry out and then the peeling begins... quite unpleasant...
