I'm guessing propane. She can have my tank. Converted to nat gas 5 years ago and the tank is still in the ground. They want to charge me $600 to remove it (they own the tank). I told them I wont charge them anything to remove it as long as the people they send to dig it up have proof of insurance and fill the hole back up with dirt.

The winner of the gold not Bronze metal is: Bronze.

That's why it is still in the ground 5 years later.

I would love to have natural gas but the cost of the pipe would cost me more money than I have spent saving money when switching from cigarettes to vaping.

You just drove me nutty. I had to look it up. It is StarTron. I have used it around three years in all of my small engines, chain saw, weed wacker, generator, that sort of thing. And in any engines that sit idle for any period of time like the beloved John Deere. So far I can't complain.
I don't think any of those stabilizers last forever. I'll empty the gas can in my truck once it hits 4 or 5 months and get new. Anything that sits over the winter gets run out.

I think my secret is the ethanol free gas. But nothing last over five months.

Running new pipe is expensive. I just converted all my appliances from propane to nat gas (same pipes). That was much less expensive. And when I went from $600/month to $250/month on heating bills it didn't take long for payback.

What a wise decision. One of our first purchases when moving to isolated reaches of Kentucky was to purchase a generator. I knew we would be near the bottom of the priority list come outage time, so we bit the bullet and bought a large Honda generator. It has been a life saver here twice, once for twelve days and I was right, we were one of the last to get powered up. Mine is gasoline and I never have less than fifteen gallons of gas on hand. You will love it and you will love that tank.
TWELVE DAYS??!! Definitely a must-have!

Hubs is feeling better without the intense pain. He is being nourished by IV. No food or drink yet.He gets some ice water and some iced gingerale with little sponge things to keep mouth from being too dry.

I'm very glad that he is feeling better. :)
