Hubs has chronic acute pancreatitis. They are admitting him. He told the doctor that did the liver procedure to stay away from his pancreas. Well,I guess he didn't cause the pain is being cause by his pancreas being irritated. So he's dehydrated. Could hve been much worse. They were looking to see if the cancer had spread.
Wow, that ain't no joke either. Prayers for you both, Fran. I'm hugging you from here.

Good morning, army:) I'll be off to see hubs a bit later this morning. I'm so glad all the excess pain he had wasn't coming from spreading cancer. The pancreatitis attacks are something we're well used of though he hasn't had many in recent years. It's much better treated in the hospital.

Lot of familiar names on this thread. @PapawBrett Upon your earlier comments, I bought a Siren 2 and it beat the Prime here to the back waters of Kentucky, so I built it. Very easy build and very nice vape. This was a good buy and I thank you for your thoughts.

    Good morning!

Whole house Generac generator is scheduled to start installation today. I think the digging for the tank and placement is to happen today.

No sign of any crews yet.

What a wise decision. One of our first purchases when moving to isolated reaches of Kentucky was to purchase a generator. I knew we would be near the bottom of the priority list come outage time, so we bit the bullet and bought a large Honda generator. It has been a life saver here twice, once for twelve days and I was right, we were one of the last to get powered up. Mine is gasoline and I never have less than fifteen gallons of gas on hand. You will love it and you will love that tank.

    Welcome CMD!

Robin, BK mentioned vitamin E and he is right. I forgot to mention that too. I have various things around here like that. When you apply essential oil, you need carriers. So I also use this stuff for some of my salves etc...
Calendula oil would also be helpful. I just thought of that one. You can buy it at the health food store most likely. I have some frozen calendula flower heads in my freezer. They came from my own plants, and I am saving them for a salve. I just haven't gotten around to making it yet.

    Welcome CMD!

Don't let that gen gas get too old or sit in your gen too long. :)

Come summer, it will go into the ole John Deere, so it has about three maybe four months total storage. I use a stabilizer, forgot the name but, with a tip of the hat to Justice Potter Stewart, like pornography, I know it when I see it. I also found a little known source of ethanol free gasoline. So far, so good.

I'm guessing propane. She can have my tank. Converted to nat gas 5 years ago and the tank is still in the ground. They want to charge me $600 to remove it (they own the tank). I told them I wont charge them anything to remove it as long as the people they send to dig it up have proof of insurance and fill the hole back up with dirt. That's why it is still in the ground 5 years later.

You just drove me nutty. I had to look it up. It is StarTron. I have used it around three years in all of my small engines, chain saw, weed wacker, generator, that sort of thing. And in any engines that sit idle for any period of time like the beloved John Deere. So far I can't complain.
