And I’m one year closer tomorrow (Tuesday). Don’t ask me where the heck the years went.
But, I’m still alive, still at peace and still having fun. I count that a win.

Sounds like it’s not something easily fixed. What a pain though. Hope it comes back quickly and working well. They might even replace it.
Exciting news for your DH! That’s a long time to be apart, but sounds like a great new path for him. He’s been teaching? In the public school system or some other type of educating?

Good Morning Army. A man was killed, live on Facebook, about 15 miles from my house last night. Just outside the Police Station of a small college town named Wingate, NC.

Now, the media will tell you it was across the street (four lane US 74) from the College, but locals know the area behind the Police Station is not a nice part of town. Drugs available there. But still, shooting an unarmed man outside a police station ?
My Grandparents would shake their heads and say the world has gone crazy, back in the '70's.

As a beside, as everyone knows my back had gotten worse toward the end of the year, and at one point I thought something was wrong with my hip as i could barely walk 5 feet.
Well, it wasn't my hip, it was nerve pain from my back - new issues.
I have vertebrae that, although once stabilised (via screws and a rod), are stable no longer and have moved out of place and are pinching nerves.
I'm doing physical therapy in the hopes of avoiding another back surgery. Right now there is some hope, but it's kind of hopeful one day discouraged the next because the pain is severe and it's impossible most days to decipher if I'm doing myself any good...
I have one more month of PT, and if it's not doing any better pain-wise the doctor is sending me back to a surgeon.
I've been working on just staying very happy and positive... even though.
And that's my only update. I'm doing good though, my son got a promotion at work and is now making more than my husband and i, so that's an awesome positive!
