Well the bad weather is just starting. We are under a tornado watch, flood watch etc... They say we can have damaging straight line winds and large hail too. Not what I wanted to hear, that is for sure. The electric company said with all the rain we've had, the wind could knock down several poles. The alert is until supper time. I'm ready for this to be over. I am diffusing the Lavender for all of us! I hope this is just an early early spring. Did I say early? LOL.

Hope it doesn't get to bad for you. There has been cases of pets getting sick from diffusing essential oils. Looks like Lavender is okay from what I read. But I'm guessing you have used it before so just an FYI.

let them do what we had to do... sit there and behave ;)
Ha! I've got good kids, but I'd still want them to have their phones on a trip for my own sanity.

The one that will give me the most relief isn't stocked. They had ordered the small tube but, after it didn't come in today, she called and found out that it only comes in a larger 'tub'.

Also my insurance doesn't cover this product. $300.00 is what I'll be shelling out on Monday:shock:
I think it's because it is a combination of meds mixed in (?)

Should last through the rest of my treatment (however long THAT is going to be)

Holy cow! Pharmaceuticals are such a racket..

Thank you David. I think we may be out of danger, at least I hope so. The rain came down very heavily. My front porch flooded, and it was almost to the point of getting in my door. I went out there and used a broom to push it away. I also had to readjust the little area I was diverting water. I was even sweeping the walkway outside of the porch, to push the water to a lower area. (mostly over the top of grass) I got a milk jug and cut a hole out of it, and then bailed water over and over again. I am physically exhausted from all of that. I think I was out there about an hour. If we had more heavy rain, we would just be up a creek. The creek is still rising and flooding.

Yes, Lavender is okay to use but you don't want to use too much of it even so. Bella gets nervous during thunder. The Thunder Shirt does not work for her. Cassie could care less about regular thunder.
I have to use most of my essential oils directly on my skin with a carrier oil. I really was disappointed to find that it can be bad for pets. I wanted to diffuse cinnamon and orange especially. But no citrus oils for cats. Tea Tree is not something you want to diffuse with dogs or cats. Plus I use a decent brand of essential oils, and that makes a difference too. Last night I used Tea Tree with Lemon essential oil. I feel like I'm trying to come down with something.

The bad weather is past me now. I think I can sleep well tonight for a change. The river here is still rising. Some people have left, but some refuse to go. Some people have homes that are too close for comfort now to the rising water. They extended the flood watch for them. This storm still has strength, and has gone on to bother other states now as well. I said a prayer for those people. The fat lady hasn't sung yet for them.
