I’ve learned to make a pretty good version of my favorite Indian dish, Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken is marinated in yogurt, garlic and a little lemon juice and olive oil, then pan fried. It could be grilled on a kabob to be more authentic, but HOA won’t allow grills around here, except the community grill by the pool. Ewwww!

The sauce is a homemade tomato purée, diced onions, some half n half and the best spices! The spices are so healthy and beneficial, you can actually become a little giddy from them! I bump up the cayenne a lot because I love the heat.

I also learned that some egg wash on the baguettes makes them even better. My sourdough starter isn’t quite active enough to make the dough rise on its own. So I added some just for flavor to the regular baguette recipe. Turned out great!

Morning, friends! Not quite nice enough to sit out with my coffee, but the heavy gray clouds are mostly gone. A little sun peaking through.

@CMD-Ky What part of the country are you in?

If I remember right, @FranC is pretty far northeast and may be facing another snow storm soon. Is all well up there?

Same here, except that I find their sockets and their Pittsburg Pro wrenches to be pretty good, especially for the cost. Avoid any battery powered tools such as drills.

General, you need to go to a Harbor Freight store. I love the smell of off-gassing Chinese plastic in the morning. :D
I worked for a small company and bought tools for the shop. I bought a ton of stuff from Harbor Freight. One of the guys I worked with (co-owner) was a massive slob. He never put anything away. When he was done with a tool he let gravity take over and just dropped it where he stood. Clean a paint brush. HA! Clean a spray gun? HA! That was beneath him. Put a tool back in the tool box? Forget it! I figgered if he didn't care then I didn't care. I'd buy 24 spray guns at a time from HF. He'd use them once and they'd get thrown away. Same for calipers. $20. Cheap stuff at HF. Perfect for the slob like this guy was.

I marked this funny - but it would have irritated me to no end! I worked for a different kind of slob back in the day. He bathed maybe twice a week. I could stay far enough away from him to be okay. Until they needed me to travel to their other shop. Over an hour away. Carpooling with the non-bathing boss. In winter!

I used to crack the window a little and gasp for air during that long, long drive.

I am in south central Kentucky with a propane fireplace, a Honda generator, 15 gallons of non-ethanol gasoline and four wheel drive. Life could be worse.

Good Morning Army. Painful night, but I do have PT this afternoon.
Fran, I haven't been in New England for years, but there is a town ... Brattleboro ? When I was a younger man, I didn't mind snow as long as the front bumper cleared. Except for that "white out" I drove through on I-93 (?) a few decades ago. But Frost Heaves are a different story. Makes for a truly miserable ride in a big rig.

Have a Safe and Blessed day

I feel for you that are getting snow still. It is so time for spring!

On that note *snicker* it has been nice enough to sit outside again with my morning coffee.

    Good morning!

I haven't been in this thread much, but I can't stop worrying about you..

Can you give me an update - how are you doing, what are your numbers doing lately and are you on the maintenance chemo now? If so how often are you doing that ?
