got an idea... since people refuse to give up texting while diving... were gonna place a Bluetooth DashCam in every car that feeds a video link to the Smartphone in the car... So... as the driver is texting they will see a live video of what ahead of them :)

Good Morning Army. Getting unloaded in Cary, NC. The closer you get Raleigh the more these people are in their own orbit.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)
Cary, NC. Also known as...

Containment
Area for
Relocated
Yankees

Did you get that? It's a wealthy suburb where all the northerners move to. Many work at RTP (a smaller version of Silicon Valley).

LOL - Papaw's "people in their own orbit" and Steve's Zebulon. Sounds like a Star Trek planet episode to me, either that or.... doobee doobee, doobee doobee......
Zebulon's biggest day ever is when Michael Jordan came to town as a Birmingham Barron to play a single A minor league game against the Carolina Mudcats when MJ gave professional baseball a try.

I just get stuck at "where did the nothing come from?" o_O
You more or less run into the same problem any way you go. Since the laws of physics would be set at the "Beginning", our observations can't tell us anything that predates it. Thus, we're left with speculation or faith. The Big Bang could either be a natural process or the voice of God booming across the cosmos , depending on individual beliefs or preferences.

there was no Big Bang... but more of a Big Conversion... the "universe" was at one time nothing but energy waves of all kinds, and at one point enuf energy collided to create matter ( E=MC^2 but in inverse,, M = E/C^2) once this process started and matter was present, gravity came about and the Cosmic Background Radiation is actually the wavefront of where this energy/matter conversion is taking place creating the simplest parts of matter which form rapidly into hydrogen... eventually the gravity of hydrogen causes strands of gravity to appear and over billions of years stars form, explode and create heavier elements and other wild things like neutron stars and black holes, which BTW create enuf gravity to create galaxies.... and heres the clincher... our "universe" isnt the only one.. these bubbles of creation of matter are all over the place, we cant see them due to the CBR "wall" being in the way... I could go on with this for hours ;)

I don't rule out the idea of multiverses, but I don't give it much thought either. I know some in string theory believe that interaction between our "universe" and others causes things like dark matter, but that's way out past my area of thought. I'm more interested in our solar system and galaxy.
