Sorta like crawfish. Edible, but too much work for too little payoff . . . IMHO.

Running and ducking because I know Retic and BK are gonna be hunting my scalp for that comment.

actually you dont eat crawfish to get full... you eat them to enjoy the company ;)

its more of a social thing than eating...

Not a crawfish fan here. Don't dislike them but I'd rather have seafood. Some people think crab legs are too much work. I guess when you've cracked enough of them it isn't much work at all. Especially relative to the reward.

re-did my RSST single coil unit.... went big this time, 1.35 ohms of 24ga 10 turns on a 3/16 brass tube running at 40W... with some old ( awesome) DF..... smooth as silk :)
the older attys cant be beat for some reason... all of these new fangled 60+$ attys ( low ohm DTL types) just dont deliver the flavor.

for some reason, crawfish are considered seafood... you buy them in the seafood department and stores that sell seafood...

I guess if it comes out of the water ( fresh or salt) its Seafood :)

Well, flavor is on the tongue of the beholder but I couldn't get rid of my RSST fast enough. Most finicky atty I ever owned. And after all the fanfare I was very disappointed. Turns out when I complained about how touchy they were people came out of the woodwork and agreed with me. Somehow I think it's one of those things where the chemistry just didn't jive with me and RSSTs. It might have been more mesh related than anything else. That's what I was using for a wick. Just got tired of it. I'd pay money to see Robin build an RSST with mesh wick. :)

I guess that's the same as finding walleye fillets with the cod fillets.

I need to come up with some wonderful idea that holds my "I-pad" to keep the people who need to sign it during the delivery acceptance portion of the software from touching the screen on accident... everyone who signed it managed to touch the screen in such a way that it drives the current page back to about 2-4 pages previous... then I have to take the pad from them, arrow forward a few times back to the "sign page" and have them resign it again... ( bad code work IMO)... it should lock that page in place until I do the finalization on it.... something like a 3 digit code or something in one of the fields...

It makes me happy that your RSST still delivers the goods for you. :)

Meanwhile my new fangled low ohm DTL atty is smoothly, tasty and perfect for me. Minimal fuss maximal (not a real word) flavor. Best of all, it was about $30. ;)

The problem is because it's a "THEM-Pad", not an I-Pad, or a You-Pad.o_O

yup, the mesh build was a real PITA.... too many hot spots that just wouldnt go away, thats why I developed my silica wick feeder/rayon coil wick design... keeps the rayon in the coil gooey wet :)

BK's right about it being a social thing , but there's usually corn , potatoes and sausage boiled with the crawfish along with lots of cold beer to wash it down with , you can get full and buzzed at the same time . :)
