Good morning!

Thank you for all the kind wishes and thoughts. Can't really say that I was tough, I was reduced to a ball of tears and groans. I looked scarey since my curls were a frightful fuzzy mess. I can only imagine what they thought when as I was going into the ER and had to drop into a ball of rocking loud groans between the door going into the building and the set going into the actual ER. Wild hair and all. LOL!

Geez! Any idea what caused the blockage?

Swelling where my resection occurred and the tumor irritating my intestine are the two possible reasons. I'm going to keep track of what I eat and when I have more pain in the region.

I'm taking Miralax now and figuring out what the dosage I need to keep things soft. It's not one of those meds that will make my bowels dependent. Daughter in law suggested this. So far, so good.

I have another line on a doctor that is an aggressive oncology surgeon. My records will be sent there and reviewed. Not getting my hopes up but seriously crossing my fingers.

My will to live is stronger than anything that gets dished out at me still. I can totally see where some people may just get too tired to fight. :(

It's hard

I'm stubborn

;)

Good Morning Army. Monday has arrived. Finally got some rain last night.
Saw this in another part if the ECF, and thought of Chak. We used to send him stuff, but now that would be highly illegal in Thailand. Like 10 years illegal ...

My goodness I can’t imagine how this would be upsetting him! Does anyone know how his wife is holding up?

I’ve been wondering how she is too. I’m not on Facebook anymore, but his brother is. @Robino1 have you seen any updates about Chris’ family? I can’t remember his brother’s name who had posted updates just after he passed.

Found their daughter. No posts regarding Sue but did find when Chak passed. I don't feel comfortable asking...
Yeah... no need to ask, that’s awkward. I’m sure you would have seen something if there were any news on MamaChak.

Thanks for taking a peek

Not sure how well you can see this. A snake has woven himself into the hummingbird feeder and hangers above it. The amazing thing is how he camouflaged himself. One of the hangers is wavy (the topmost one). The snake made himself wavy too. His body was lumpy mimicking the wave and you can really see his tail at the top with the wave (you see it sticking out perpendicular to the hanger). And of course his head is right where the hummingbirds go to drink. Just awaitin' dinner. I was standing a foot away from this dude before I knew he was there. That's how well he fit into the scene. He never flinched. Watched the hummingbirds approach the feeder but stop just short once they saw Mr. Snake. Pretty cool though. Amazing creatures.

Thank you for looking her up! I wouldn’t feel comfortable asking anything either - good call. I’m so relieved that there’s no posting. I’m thinking no news is good news. I hope so.

That is the craziest thing ever! It is amazing. Devious, but amazing. Sorry, Mr. Snake, but I’m really hoping you go hungry. Do you know what kind it is?

Clever snake.
Even crazier is the section of his body that corresponds to the tight wavy hanger is also a tighter wave than the rest of his body that is against that lower (less wavy) hanger. I.E., the shapes along his body changes with the shape changes on the thing he is attached to. How in the hell does that snake know that? These dang things are expert mathematicians. Nature is fascinating.

I would have screamed but once inside I would have watched in fascination. Thanks for sharing. What kind of snake is that? Looks harmless.
