I am on The Cat Site forum, but sure not a 'pro'.
Hasn't been any heavy discussions (and I don't understand why not), mostly things in passing (and my own speculations...)
We are seeing so many cats with chronic kidney disease, blockages, IBD, allergies and 'mysterious illnesses' - you have to believe it's the food these days.

A couple of lawsuits re heavy metals and toxins...Roundup - really ?

menadone (artificial K3, banned in human food), Carrageenan...why the heck ?

What did you run across ?

Isn't that the chair that massages everything ?
It is :) Not my idea of living room furniture, but different strokes bwahahahaha

I see...never knew stuff like that existed :D

so, first cable I linked should do.

sooo what I need is a USB to 30 pin adapter.... and to install I Tunes on my windoze comp and delete all the Xrated files from the Ipad... kinda defeats the purpose of snagging someone elses old Ipad... BHUHHAAHhahahahaaaaaaa....

;)

it's really no big thing. just break it (get it to recovery) - I thought, you'ld enjoy this part - plug it in with itunes and you're good. (any friends around with mac/itunes?). it's a ten minute job.
I have a couple of those cables- if you can wait until november, I mail you one :)

New Orleans La.
just got back from the grocery store... while there, I picked up 2 4packs of Monster drinks ( one for the wifey sugar free and a standard for me).... as the check out clerk ran them over the laser scanner she told me with an air of authority that " those drinks are reaalllly bad for you"... I replied " Oh really?? imagine how bad they are going to be once we add vodka and rum to them" ;) .... she actually blushed with that reply..... dont know if it was anger or insult that made her go from light tan to dark pink....

never tell an old person whats bad for them.... I vape, smoke cigars, drink beer, rum, and eat fast food.... a power drink isnt going to do anything worse than whats already happened...

Here are just a few. It is mind boggling to read through this. I found much more. Somebody opened a can of food, I can't remember which (dog or cat), and it had a frog in it. I kid you not. I believe that one problem is where they may be sourcing the ingredients. A good while back they had low taurine levels in cat food. That tells you right there that there wasn't enough meat in the food. (such as beef, poultry & seafood) Most of the added vitamins probably come from C H I N A. I read where a vet said as far as he/she knew, it was all from there. Then you've had food that had a euthanasia drug in it, and it caused deaths. I could go on an on. Stay away from by products too. You wanted named meat sources, and it should be the top ingredient. I know dog food these days have too many carbs, and that may be one reason some dogs are showing low levels of taurine. There are dogs who are getting heart problems that genetically do not fall in the group most predominant for that. Many quality dog foods now have a more plant based food. (the proteins can look good, until you see peas, legumes etc...) Grain free is usually better in my opinion, because it doesn't have franken grain in it, which is usually a filler. I would like to see the top 3 ingredients be meat or fish, and then add some peas, potatoes and the like. I have seen some foods with menhaden in it, and that sounds good. I can't find the food locally though. It would be nice if USA companies sourced their ingredients from American products, or Canada. The FDA is all over some things, but as in the case of the euthanasia drug story...they seem not to enforce the law. My dogs eat a better quality food than I do for sure. I can't change the cat food, as I've tried. The old cat balks at any change. She did like an indoor cat food, but she gained too much weight with it and I stopped buying that. She would not touch the healthier food that I bought. I think I tried 3 different brands, and she raised cain over it, let me tell you.

Taking apart the landscape timbers out back. They were here when I bought this place 14+ years ago. They formed a perimeter for the previous owner's kid's swing set and stuff. The bottom rows are secured with 3-foot long rebar driven into the ground. Each subsequent row is secured with 12" spikes nailed to the row below. I already bent my pick axe prying up the first one. This is really hard work. And I'm too old for this :censored:!

Don’t you have a buddy with a backhoe? I had a swing set and two-story fort in my old backyard. Installed with the help of a neighbor’s backhoe. Torn down by my brother to prep the place to sell. I think he used his pickup and chains to yank the posts. I know the guys who tore down the above-ground pool deck had to do that. It helps to have a non-prize winning yard. Then you don’t mind bringing in the heavy equipment onto the grass rather than breaking your back. :)

a can of gas and a match should do it ;)

Like so... no gasoline needed. Started the old-fashioned way with paper and some kindling of old dried branches.

I don’t mind telling y’all, I had a big foodie fail couple days ago. I tried a savory cake recipe that combined yogurt, tahini and a dash of sesame oil. Crushed poppy seeds (substituted for black sesame seeds which I didn’t have) and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sugar. Seemed like a good idea at the time. It. Was. Not. I hate food waste, but that sucker got tossed.
