So I got the old bed out.. Then went to Target for a couple cans of carpet cleaner. That does more than the bedroom so vacuumed all the rooms. Went out to bring the trash can up and my mattress was by the door. FedEx did a drop and run when I wasn't looking. Had to turn it end for end to het it in the house. And I rubbed a blood blister on my arm and jammed my kneecap into the door in the process. Double ouch. No pain no gain I guess. Felt like the legs for the base could use a couple washers so found them. Washer and dryer have been going most of the day with sheets and blankets. not I'm just waiting on UPS to bring the cover so I can make it up and be done....(Yes there was beer involved)…

Ugh with the injuries! But... beer... so all is well.
If FedEx hadn’t dropped and ran off, are they supposed to help you get it inside? I know years back, the FedEx guy would bring in heavy stuff and set it inside for me. But he was an exceptionally nice and conscientious person.

Not likely.. Most companies don't want the driver stepping inside. I know I can't. They've paid for to many carpets and such. And my cover just got here.. Time to make the bed...

Wheeeee. I get liquids today. Clear of course but even water tastes good after having nothing all day yesterday and last night.
Daughter is bringing me coffee.
Goal for the day is getting out of here at some point. At least I have a private room again.

I called in this morning to work and told them to keep me busy... and they did, 8 runs today..
and to top it off, the company I used to work for called me and asked me to come back...
they have hired a few new drivers and they arent working out... plus the company picked up several new contracts and they dont want to loose them ( and I was told that I was a good choice to have on hand to retain the contracts... TBH this sounds like a line of BS but Ill wait n see) plus... its football season so that means one driver will be turning down requests anytime a football game is on TV... sooo... friday thru monday will be a full schedule for me to jump on.

Had some spice delivered today. The key ingredients in Chicken Masala. I kept reading that good quality ground spice is okay, but for mind-blowing authentic flavor, buy them whole and grind them fresh. I gotta justify the mortar & pestle purchase. So I had to try.
2 out of 3 of the spices arrived in time today via Amazon delivery service. Tonight’s Masala was mind-blowing! It’s true that for pungency and depth of flavor, there’s nothing like fresh ground spice!
The third spice was cardamom. Far less of that in the recipe, but still. Delivery was via UPS, promised by 8 pm today. Delivered at 8:18 pm.
My question: UPS owes me a free pizza, wouldn’t you say? If Pizza Hut can do it..., ya know?

Probably a misguided attempt to compete with the IPA's by some idiot . Bock should be Bock , not hop tea . No balance in IPA's , no art behind them , no finesse .wellll... Shiner Bock dun messed up... they over hopped their beer, took a good thing and turned it into poo. I opened a bottle and took a sip and YACK!!! Pine Sol... dont know if its a recipe change or someone didnt read the batch instructions correctly... Im just trying to imagine how many thousands of bottles of Shiner out there that are seriously going to turn off alot of people.... its going to be a while before I buy any more.... so... Im switching over to Sam Adams Octoberfest for as long as its available..

Still in the hospital but hopeful for today. Slept very very well last night. Funny how doing absolutely nothing is tiring.
Trying to introduce clear liquids again this morning. *crossing fingers*.
Still vaping with the same batteries as when I first got here Tuesday night. Haven't even drained any tanks. It's not like I don't have plenty of opportunity to vape just don't feel like vaping all the time.

Morning... Much less tossing and turning last night and only woke up one time. Lower back hurts from getting the bed put up but I don't have the stiffness and over all pain I've been getting up with. So a good first night and it can only get better as better body gets adjusted to the bed..
