And if I understand correctly, that "
good Morning" is sent us from home.
:toast:

It certainly does!!!!! Good nights sleep last night. Legs quit aching from the granex shots to bring up my blood counts up. That always helps. ;)

Looking forward to this week. Hopefully since I've been off chemo (due to cramps and the hospitalization) for 4 weeks now, I might get lucky and have to stay in Michigan because surgery would be able to be done sooner. God I hope so.

Are you in Michigan now? Or traveling there this week? Glad you’re on the upswing!

Gotta get up and make the donuts.

Over here it’s time to make the baguettes. Saturday morning tradition.

Fly to Michigan on Wednesday.

Today I'm starting to pack for the trip. I'm hoping that I won't be flying back home on Sunday so I'm making sure I have enough stuff for a longer stay. ;)

When is the procedure scheduled?

It isn't yet. I am going up for a consultation. He needs to evaluate me to make sure I am healthy enough for the surgery. He did say that if all goes well, it would happen in two or three weeks from the evaluation. I think that the time frame is due to needing the chemo to leave my body before they can operate. He would need 4 weeks for the Avastin before we can go for it.

It will be 4 weeks since chemo on the day that I actually see him.

I'm really hoping he will say that he can schedule it sooner because I have been off for this long.

Maybe he'll toss you in OR on Wednesday and have at it right then. :)

So give us a general idea what this entails. He carves around the tumor?

Yes, yes and yes!!! I’ve researched for a good recipe for beignets. I think I found one. Maybe you or @retic1959 can share what makes one authentic. Then I can make ‘em right! Or I’ll plow ahead and tell you either way if they were a success or a fail. :)

#1 rule... get the oil hot... and keep it hot. ( 365-375)
#2 rule... powdered sugar is not an option ;)
#3 rule... forget about staying "clean" while eating them
#4 rule... a good DARK roast coffie is mandatory, light and medium roast is also NOT an option ;)

I like to add a touch of vanilla extract to my mix ( about 4-5 drops per cup of flour ... use the good stuff too :)

so... my day is done, who needs to go to the gym... ( btw Im getting to old for this stuff)
delivered 75 boxes of Rouses ( a "local" grocery store in the south) Sales Magazines ( which weighed in at 42 lbs each) thats 3150 lbs moved 3 times..
( from the dock into the van, from the van to a pallet or cart, from the pallet/cart to the loading bay/ storage slot)
so thats ummmm.... 3150X3 which = 9450lbs total in movement which equates to about lifting 42 lbs 225 times...
Imagine, I lifted my own weight 42 times today ( well sortof ... same amount of energy was expended ;) )

and I get to do 50 more boxes tomarrow... well at least i didnt have to do the produce run... everyone complains how their van smells of onions for a couple of days afterwards... :)

the only lifting Im gonna do now is the Guinness to the face ;)
