Good morning from yet another hospital bed.

Yep, another partial bowel blockage. I really think it is adhesions pushing on my innards and irritating the (haha) crap out of them. It's early enough I can get ECF on my iPad. Before everyone starts using the wifi.

Came in yesterday morning and nothing to eat or drink since Sunday night. Should get clear liquids today.

Hope all the rains are heading out and damage assessment can begin for those affected by this storm.

I'm doing good. Less than a week to go!

Ugh! Hang in there. I really appreciate these updates. Less than one week! Praying hard! :)

Have you noticed all the spots for more people to work there? You may have 8 places or more. Then you notice only 2-3 are actually handling all those people who come in. It reminds me of Wally World, but worse.

really... the bigger DMV place has 28 bays to process people... when I went to do my DL in aug. I walked in and there was close to 300 people waiting to be processed... and only 3 bays were being utilized... WhiteTurkeyFeathers!!!

And available for all except for our ruling class who will have their own.

youve done it ... you got me started.... ( Papaw warned you)

affordable health care my juicy ....!! I tried to get "AHC" and here are some numbers
lowest plan 397$ a month 14,700$ deductable, 14,700$ OOP 40/60 coverage ( 40% copay)
highest plan 3067$ a month, 5000 deductable, 14,7000$ OOP 20/80 coverage ( 20% copay)

lets say you need to have something done for a billing of 20,000$
you cover the 14,700 deductable, pay out 397$ a month for 6 months, and pay 40% of the 5,300 "covered" which = 2,120$
so you end up paying 19,202$ thats a savings of 798$... and if you pay on the insurance for 3 more months... youve wasted an additional 400$... so now you have spent 20400$ to have a 20,000$ operation... yup thats a great deal.

and the "goodplan"... pay for the premium for 9 months ( as before with the cheap plan) and you have already spent more than the value of the 20,000$ proceedure... and you still have to cover the 5000$ deductable and 20% copay...

Im not good at math but this seems really messed up... o_O

went to go get a renewal for the wifeys licence plate at the DMV.... walked in and there were about 60ish people standing around... get a number and its 73... sat there about 10 minutes and they call the next number..... 12 o_O

sooo... thats 51 more people to go and a 10 minute wait between numbers ummm 510 minutes ummm 8 hrs and 30 minutes avg wait time...

and the odd thing... seems as if everyone there was "older" 50+ yrs old... I guess the younger generation "trusts" the internet to do the DMV stuff...

guess Ill try again in the morning get in line for 7:20am and wait for them to open at 8... maybe Ill get a low number

I renew my tag sticker online every year...

I guess that you guys don't remember that your premiums went down by the $2500 and you kept your doctor.

unfortunately, the wifeys tag is a handicapped tag and proof is required via the handicapped "license"... aka one has to go to the DMV ( they dont send the Mirror Tag in the mail, you can only get them at the DMV) o_O
