Good Morning Army. Overslept until 3 am, but being home and in my own bed just felt good.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Why does it always tickle my funny bone to hear that you overslept till 1am/2 a.m/3 a.m.?

I would call that "self-insurance".

and dont forget.... if you dont have insurance, they cant help you....

and.... whats the sence of having insurance when there is a 15,000$ deductable and a 15,000$ OOP along with a 400$ a month premium and 40% of actual bills incurred

imagine how different the world would be if the avg height of a human was 4 foot... doors would only need to be 5 foot tall, cars and roads would be smaller, buildings would be shorter by 4 feet per story, counter heights would be lower, a great dane would be a reallllyy huge dog, building materials would be scaled down by 30-40% ( a standard sheet of plywood would be 3X5 instead of 4X8).....

but then again, maybe we are just 4' tall and we adjusted the ways we measure things to make ourselves bigger ;)

I think about it all the time.

Mike is about to roll thru then clear out overnight. Got a nice cool front coming in behind it. Gonna be nice tomorrow. Can't wait! It's been awhile.

We had some very cool temps here last night. It was in the 50's. So now for us, it feels more like fall.

I feel for our Florida residents, and those in Hurricane Michael's path. I heard the Cajun Navy was called up, and they went into action already. Those folks are amazing!

Forgive my grimace. Mike is the name of my ex. I associate only bad news with the name.

I’m glad the Carolinas won’t be terribly impacted. I’m seeing articles about giant mosquitoes and frogs dropping from above. That’s enough biblical plagues for one geographical area for now.

There's still a bunch of the Cajun Navy in NC. Those areas are still messed up bad from last month and Mike is gonna dump a bunch more rain on the area. Those poor people. It's already raining cats n dogs. Will go on another 12 - 18 hours.

I didn't know they were still in NC. Well that is good, they don't have to spend more gas money to get there. Those Cajun Navy folks are heroes in my book. Today is a beautiful day here. More rain coming our way, and oh you know we need it. (pure sarcasm) I haven't heard Eleanor talk about the storm, and I think she is spared because of her location. I hope so anyway. It will effect the Carolinas and Georgia, and continue on with rain after that too.

Agreed. We need @EleanorR to check in and let us know she’s okay.
